Gurren Lagann Mafia - Game Over - Who Lost the Most?

Joey hasn't told me specifically why he had to replace out, but I would guess it's because of band camp.

I've been skimming the game, so I'm generally aware of what is going on. I do need a full reread which I will attempt to start tonight.

For those who feel Joey is scummy, please give reasons why. I am aware he's been very AtE and emotional in general this game. However, I do ask that you look at the player and his preferred playstyle and not a "correct" way of playing. Those of you who have played with Joey before know he tends to get upset when he's town because he is emotionally invested.

During my casual read, I had pegged him as town based on this personal preference of play.

The person I want to look at most during my reread will be Zen. He's been generally quiet from what I've noted and a quiet Zen is usually scum Zen.

Also, Boat, are you still standing by your Miller claim? I obviously noted that from post 1, but I don't know if you are still claiming it. Also, you mentioned "Daddy". Is the word "Daddy" used in your pm? Not Father or some other word referring to the parental unit?

This entrance post bugs me my dear. The bolded line specifically on a ZenScum flip when Zen and others were just as inactive. Plus the sentence in red above I don't like because you come in saying "Oh welp, I had my own slot figured out as town, go figure." which I don't necessarily get.

It's also a defense based on meta.

to whoever is saying i'm coasting can go to hell, i'm figuring things out and these flips and latest actions have put me in a state of frustration and i have no idea what to do, i have clawed through days and what i miss and i can't find anything, like washed said, it's nuklear again, and on top of resorting ****-ups i'm at a state of replacing out.

You replace out, you die. Quite literally by the mod's hand. Breathe in, relax, and read the game.

Through D1, you are probably the most active coaster and from reputation wise, it seems to not change throughout the game.

I find it insanely hard to believe you can't find anything cuz atm, I have only just begun an in-depth read and I've even found stuff.

Here's mine after my recent reread:

Raziek - I really like your play this game. Even before I replaced it, I felt you were town from your questions that you stated. I know some people treated you as role fishing from LAK's posting style, but I could tell you were sincerely confused by what they were doing. Would you consider holding my hand this game?

T-block and WashedLaundry I both consider town. I think they've been really good on asking questions and pushing issues.

Boatchouli (Ryker/Moth) - I am leaning town based on playstyle more than claim. I do find it interesting that there has been no counterclaim on the Nia character, but as KvD proved, sometimes someone can make a fake claim and not be cc. Regardless, I do get the usual Ryker superiority attitude, but Moth's general towniness is there too.

Lovably Adorable Kanine (RR/Ranmaru) - A little too much general fluffiness in your posts, but your character claim and last post made me feel you're town.

Love.

Soupamario - Actually is playing the most sane I've ever seen out of him. Not sure if scum or he's learned a better town style. =3

Glyph - I don't like your inactivity and you repeating that you'll get to the game later. It's way scummy. I'm willing to give you the benefit of a doubt for now because of the breadcrumb, but don't depend on it to take you to end game. Start giving input, replace, or die.

Zen - Willing to give him some leeway because of his V/LA. I do want to see more input from you too. You're a strong town player and I want you to be on our side this game. Makes it a lot more fun when you're on the ball.

asianaussie - Lack of input and activity has AA on my scum list.

Gova - I also want to see more from Gova.

X1-12 - I'd like more activity from you. So far you're null to me. I can see where you could be making legit cases, but you can fake town as scum better than most. IGMYEOU

JTB - I agree his style is off. Inactive, fluffy posts. Doesn't fit.

When I said 3 scum, I meant 2 mafia + 1 SK. I could speculate more, but I really believe it's just a 2 man scum team.

Also gonna have to say that a lot of his defense is just "I did this thing because this reason! Trust me guys!" And I can't buy half of it. Town would never drop a case simply because people go against it (See: Soup's Gorf case in Pulp Fiction). I don't like the constant cherry-picking of inactives, don't like the flip between townRaziek to scumRaziek, don't like anything, and you always seem to have a convenient excuse lined up as a defense.

I really don't see the case here, but, i see the reward of it, on a t-block lynch and he does flip his claim, ryker is clear.

I'm only going to respond to this one post, but this conveniently covers T-block and Tandora anyway.



The Joey-case-dropping aside, I don't really like T-block that much. His claim is debunkable on a deeper level: it's questionable as to whether one-way mason Coco and spiral anti-spiral miller Nia are even in the same segment of the anime. I take the miller role is heavily linked with spiral anti-spiral, and given that Coco is only 'one-way' until like episode 10 (which isn't anywhere near the part where anti-spirals are introduced), I say that this particular claim doesn't hold quite as much water. The old one watching over Nia is certainly not Coco. That much crumbing seems like overcompensation and doesn't convince me at all. I wouldn't be surprised if the claim was true because I doubt kuz put that much effort into this (probs just wanted to use the role), but if you think about it, T-block's claims could actually fit the big bad villain of part 2 - watching over Nia from afar, etc.

Dunno if I want to put him at L-1. Meh.

I don't like Tandora at all. Ignoring her slot's play (because that's what she's doing), that one post where she complained about WL posting gifs was absolute drivel and completely unhelpful. Ignore the damn pictures and focus on the slab of content posted at the bottom about not clearing people. In fact, that slab of content was exactly what she had asked for in a previous post: why people were voting her slot. I don't care how emotionally scarred one gets from mean pictures, working your scumreads from inactivity is poor play. She implied Zen was town in a reads post. Zen has been just as inactive as me, and I was read as scum. I came into this game 5 days late (not to point fingers kuz, but I PM'd you about this two days before the game started, and a whole 6 days before you told everyone I had a V/lA) and was busy from then.

If she had really been reading and re-reading she should've noted and been able to at least defend on a basic level her slot's play. I want her to analyse her own slot's play.

Glyph is mean cuz he ignored my buddy request, but null. Nothing on Gova. Meh on X1 (I know I should have something but honestly, nothing right now). Meh on Zen.

I probably promised to re-read a certain person but forgot.

Meeeeeeeeeh. Best out of those three but still meh to a pretty good degree.

Crumbs for my character are my posts with girls smoking since his trademark is his cigarette.

I want everyone to keep in mind that statistically a 13 man game would have a 3 man scum team. If there is an indy, then to balance mafia would have a 2 man team with powers.

I'm inclined to say bullcrap on Soup's claim because of three reasons.

1) It is a hugely unpopular role on SWF. I tried to include it in my game and it was suggested that I shouldn't because of the imbalance that class creates.

2) It seems grossly unfair for Mafia to be screwed over like that. They have at least a NK and a mafia doctor. It would be possible for them to lose at least two mafia members if they targetted Soup. Usually when a mafia doctor is included it is to protect the mafia from the secondary killer.

3) As previously mentioned why would Soup be protected?
