Yes, I was a member of the Workshop Back Room back in the day (though the change in my avatar is the entirety of my work that survived the transition to Project:M). And if you look hard enough, you'll find that I entered a Toronto Brawl tourney a few years back - I've lived in T.O. my whole life.

Your name looks familiar as well, though that's probably just because I've lurked this board for a very long time. Or because you were on the Brawl+ board back in the day as well. My memory's a bit hazy, I took a long hiatus from Smashboards recently.

I can most likely host tomorrow (assuming Raynex's tomorrow means Wednesday; I'm thinking he meant Tuesday). 2 setups at my place:
2 crts
1 wii
1 gc
1 project m
1 melee

There is a cap at my place though. Preferably no more than 6 (including me). If someone can bring more setups that'll be perfect. I can probably increase the cap if this happens.

Yeah. I played Brawl+ frequently alongside Melee. Obviously Melee had more priority though. I'm surprised you never bothered meeting up to play Brawl+. 5ive used to host a lot of Brawl+ smashfests with Eugene.

Edit: Bernard, I have another CRT at home I can give you. Its the small ones but the only problem is that it lacks a remote control. If you're able to find a universal remote control that works for it, you're good to go. It needs to go into "Game Mode" (basically another way of saying TV Video 1/2/3/etc back then) in order for it to play anything plugged in through the RCA jacks. It's in perfect working condition.

Windrose still has my other CRT too lol.

Also, Winter Brawl 7 (Road to Evo event) is thinking about hosting Melee. It's Feb 23 and in Philly if anyone wants to go but they're not confirming nor denying that melee will be there which is a big ***** cause it's so close. It's a 2 day event though.

I plan on eating a big enough meal beforehand such that I won't need dinner, so...I don't know. I could just chill at your place or out of it if that makes you more comfortable. Or, if you guys are eating at the place, start walking there. I walk everywhere so it wouldn't be a big deal for me.

1. take the subway's east bound to get to Scarborough Town Centre Station and take 21 NORTH Brimley and get off at Eagledance
2. take the subway's north bound to to get to Finch Station and take 53 Steeles (as long as its not the 53 that stops at Pharmacy; usually you won't encounter 53 that stops at Pharmacy) and get off at some bunch of number stop (2nd stop after Midland. Midland > Ashcott > random number stop) and even if you miss it, the next stop is just 10 second walk away (Steeles + Brimley)

I officially changed my Brawl icon to Ganondorf to represent my love for him in Project M. He's awesome, and I had a lot of fun trying the game out for the first time last night. Will definitely be playing more of that.

Other characters I'm interested in: Wolf, Game & Watch (because I always liked that little bugger), and anybody with a sword--hahaha. Not you, Meta Knight. Go away.
