Riven's spells don't proc lifesteal... I been playing her a lot and I can guarantee that doesn't happen.

Her passive does work with it though. New Skarner is so dumb top lane. Powerpushes nonstop and you just have to deal with it. You leave your lane, you lose your tower.

You don't have to deal with Skarner's pushing. He's easy to harass.

My bro mains Riven and says that her Q procs lifesteal or at least it feels like it does. Nothing else does though, according to him. AND I'D RATHER LISTEN TO HIM THAN THIS SUPER HIGH ELO PROFESSIONAL DFG CHO USER.

It's hard to tell you what to fix if people don't see you play. Maybe consider recording a game/uploading it or something? Would be much easier to give advice that way.

also one game, i was told not to go soraka, was told she is such a bad support, she doesn't do anything, and that i'm half the reason we lost. the other half was our 0/8 talon who fed sion top and kept over extending without wards. he was a tournament player so he obviously knew everything

My advice would be a different choice of champions. There's a reason there's a solo queue tier list as well as an arranged 5s tier list. Corki cannot carry a team by himself (or at least as well as other champions) because he relies on his team to keep him safe and fed. Xerath on the other hand can't really take out a team that efficiently. He's more adept to taking out people one at a time.


Xerath is really, really strong and may end up being the best AP carry right now IMO.

Like I want to be super nice right now, but I can't think of a champ in that lineup that is subpar. Even Veigar (forgot him) is showing some more useage with the influx of AP going around.

Top 5 for AP carries is nothing close to "ranging from subpar to best". Just get out. Now.

You want average or subpar? Heimer (even that's debatable but fair to say he's under the top AP casters clearly.) How many champs are above the subpar line? A lot. Including Xerath.

Getting back on track to the original point...

Xerath will hit people like a freight train once people learn to play him at a competitive level. VMan, Chauster, Dan Dinh, lots of people are using the guy to great success.

I didn't have to list every single AP carry, all I did was list more than a handful of strong AP carries/champs and saying out of these STRONG AP champs, Xerath is up there. AKA, being top 5 out of a strong field does not qualify as "Lol top 5 doesn't say much".

and scarletdoom is a godlike player. had a 90+% winrate with karthus season 1 with like 2k elo. he really needs to stream sometime so i can watch him play.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but John was asking for advice on how to carry harder in solo queue.

I think most people would agree that it is harder to do that with Corki and Xerath as opposed to, say, Graves.

On the other hand I could be wrong about Xerath. He does seems stupidly strong to me.
