so the heals have helped you stay in lane lots?
if someone is in range to auto attack the carry leona trade e q w + passive and cc is much more

you mean just his Q? unless you want to consider the small knockback as anything. and stun into wall isnt even guaranteed. you think if you add the cc from q e and r of leona its still not may be twice (after tenacity) the duration of alistar's only guranteed stun if it lands?

is there some secret to NOT being first pick every game? getting non stop countered to whatever I pick and it's starting to really piss me off.

Alistar's headbutt is a whole freaking second of stun no matter where he hits you. Heck, movement quint alistar can headbutt you NOT into a wall and still run up and pulverize before you recover, supposing that he wants to milk the stuns.

Also, Maokai has an enormous burst early game.

Also, also, there's only one 'r' in Yorick unless I'm missing some sort of in-joke -_-

We were really out of practise and we played against the locals (who didn't have to be up at like 3am to catch flights and then go straight from the airport to the tournament venue, qq).

What exactly is an optimal build going to look like?
I was using Voyboy's build today but I hate not having a midgame. Early lane you can poop on your opponent with your basic E>W>Q>E combo, and you keep that momentum up when you get a Brutalizer. Going with Voyboy's build though, you have ~5000g of like no midgame presence.
What kind of build is going to keep up the pressure throughout the midgame? Brutalizer>Phage>Hexdrinker or something along those lines?

Perhaps you're not using him correctly mid-game. Or perhaps you're not taking advantage of your early game enough to make your lane opponent have an even harder mid-game. :o

I always laugh at the people that don't think jetlag is a big factor in tournaments like these.

Turaz, you gotta learn to tell when I'm trolling. We had Blitz/Shen against a regular tryhard comp, obv the game isn't too serious. I didn't really care about the first blood, the only stuff that was serious criticism is when you didn't attempt to follow the Zil into jungle while your team is there. Should always try to cut people off/apply pressure.

First thing I thought when I read the gunblade nerf was "get rocked, Dekar."

Can't wait til Skarner becomes OP! He may be a viable jungler after these changes.

Uh.. 3625 for.. 60+ AD, 75 AP, 20% Life Steal, 25% Spell Vamp, and an unique passive that does 300 damage + slow.. ********... 60 AD = ~BF sword + Long sword (1650+415=2065), 75 AP = ~ 1 Needlessly Large Rod (1600), 20% life steal = ~2xVampScepter (450x2=900), 25% spell vamp = Revolver (~1200g). If you add all that **** together you get 2065+1600+900+1200=5765 and not to mention a 300 damage active that slows. The item too price efficient and can be ran on too many champs. TBH I don't know why it took so long for them to nerf it.\
You basically get initial blood thirster stats + AP bonus/Spell Vamp and an active for 650 more, how is that fair at all?

Jungle Skarner is already very good. It's just that he's not OP and... well, we know how videogames work. I'm glad his ult is actually going to (possibly) work. Just half a second more in duration is fine by me, but what I REALLY want, is for the first tick of his ult to scale with AD and the second tick scale with AP. This would further encourage people to build hybrid on Skarner or it would really give him incentive to build AD and not have a useless ult that does no damage and make Skarner himself useless during the ult. Really, I don't think he'll be OP at all in the next patch, but at least it's another step in the right direction without being too drastic. The only concern with the ult 'buff' is that it could also be a 'nerf' because that means Skarner is useless for even longer.

Also, Gunblade nerf? On one hand, I'm glad that's an indirect nerf to jerks like Jax and overpowered A-holes like Akali, but on the other hand, I now have absolutely no reason to build hybrid on Miss Fortune. Her ult should have a better AP ratio ;_;

Don't forget: The spell vamp on Gunblade is not unique, so champions could also get another revolver / WotA for increased vamp if they so chose.

I mean, generally not the best option, but...

Oh wait it was in Dominion lol

I'm loving the patch so far. Skarner buff looks great, though the thought that increasing ult duration could be bad is something I didn't consider at first.

More points for defending in Dominion is amazing. I bet I'll be getting first place all the time now.

Riot has themselves to blame for Gunblade. They buffed nearly every aspect of it at least once before it got to this point.

Started my placement matches for ranked. Don't know why I thought it was a good idea to go it solo instead of duo, but I'm almost done with my placement matches and my last match was with 1400 players. Now I'm scared to keep playing solo because I don't want to do what I did last season :urg:

Gotta duo queue for my own good.
