I need to play with someone. Normals are tooooo boring. Solo is toooooo aggravating. Who can carry a team really hard? I always win my dang lane. So stupid.

Singed, Jax, a good jungler can all carry really hard if you build a bit bulky.

Just watched top 5 replays from this week. Strongly considering sending in any time I've been triple ganked top as rumble and pulling out a triple kill from it since it looks like anyone can get in the top 5, regardless of if the replay was actually good.

I find it very frustrating to play this game in any shape or form other than with friends. Honestly it just isn't worth it.
And the times I do get into a solo game with a bunch of randoms, as rare as that is, I just treat it differently. I just set my mind on out CSing my lane and lanemate if I'm in a duo with two farmers (worst lanes ever >.<), most CS in the game if I'm solo or with a support, and going positive for my team. My ability to last hit has gotten astronomically better through practicing in these situations, and by just trying to always live regardless of the situation my positioning as a carry has gotten noticeably better.
I tend to play characters who can win by ignoring my own team too which helps. When you play a character like Teemo, Master Yi, or Nidalee where you can win the game by yourself regardless of how bad your team is doing. Yeah, sometimes your team literally feeds 15 kills each before laning is over and you are just too far behind. Happens, but move on.
Learn an unstoppable pushing champ though. Kills don't win games afterall, towers do. I've had Master Yi games where I never once go with my team into a fight. Just ignore them, teleport to the nearest tower and destroy it. Farm for the next few minutes, and destroy the next one. Your team in a team fight for your second bot lane tower? Screw them and push down a tower or two top. Dragon fight? Tower. Loosing an inhib? Take theirs. Loosing Baron? Take a Nexus tower. They trying to stop you? Ult away, and tele back in when the coast is clear.
I'm sure you've had games where your team is super far ahead but the other team has that one player who just back doors while the rest of his team fights. Be that guy.
Or just skip all that trouble and que with friends. Safer option...
Best option of all though is run that kind of pushing strategy with your friends supporting you with their picks.
Ever run a Master Yi team comp with four other competent people? It's scary.

so i broke down and bought a carry so maybe i can do stuff in solo queue instead of relying on just plain awful teammates. and my team harrasses me for farming. 10 minutes into the game i was being harrassed for farming and not ganking. as a carry i should be farming until when? i kept farming until about 20 minutes at which time i participated in any teamfights i could and often went to protect turrets from big pushes. not sure about my role as a carry and whats expected from me. but i was yelled at all game for being ganked at my turret while they had just scattered after drawing 3-4 people to my lane. should i just let the turrtes go down when they do that? how about in team fights. do i have a right to complain that 4 of my team members all left me as singed charged at me and didn't come help me until after the 4v4 was won? (i was kiting singed for a good 20 seconds). they yelled at me for not participating in that team fight because i had to run from singed the whole time because they didn't help.
i really have no idea how to carry and if any of this was my fault.
on the plus side i maintained 10 cs a minute for laning phase.

Different carries have different responsibilities.

Then I could get force of atmogs with mercury treads, triforce and a last whisper + some amazing source of life steal (starks/bloodthirster).

Honestly, with nocturne I'd question whether or not the kid needs shoes late game.

Just arrow their lane, will be qeuiavlent to a gank. Ashe needs farm so 20 min farming is okay but you really need to arrow the other lanes. You shuld just let the turret go, and being chased by singed is just something that will happen since you don't have protection. Force of Nature + Triforce gives a fair amount of move speed if you don't need the added ability from boots.
don't sell your boots on a melee character unless you wanna just lose whenever their ranged carry gets red.

made an eu account to try out dominion. Won my first game 3-0. It was so closseeeeee. Lost my second like 0-400 : (
First opinion is it's frantic and fun. It's different. Haven't had enough time to form an opinion on balance, too focused on OOO new shiny. I'ma keep playing my amass-movespeed-ninjacap-rammus until i can afford another champ.
edit: just had a 1-0 game. it gets pretty intense!

Rammus seems like an eaely OP champ but I think it will be easier to counter him once we get some strats going. I would think the meta is gonna shift with a lot of defending but that's like with my game knowlege of playing for a full hour.
