You don't get one as you misspelt pasties, your 'pastries' inplies a sort of french feel which a pasty is not!

Does bring me nicely onto the next point, the reason you might not have noticed before Ben is either because no ones gonna bring it up with you if you all have a soton accent right? Or maybe cause you southerners don't really have a good reason to dislike, i mean you have more jobs, better average wage, larger and more expensive average houses, more money in your hospitals schools, better weather, flatter land with much few sheep/cows, higher average temperature, and pretty much every top 50 richest ppl in the UK. I mean how can you hate us :S

It's much nicer and simpler here, we don't like the south as they remind us of the french. :)

No none of us have an accent I don't think, but then again I'm not good with recognising accents or understanding them for that matter.

Even though you say we have more of this stuff we also have higher prices and more tax. I like sheep and cows as well dammit, mainly from playing Harvest Moon though. And Britains average temperature is rain anyway. I'm originally from Surrey (MASSIVE TAX!!) the best county (OMG COUNTY FIGHT!!). I actually have to say though Northerners tend to be more relaxed a lot of the time and not as uptight. They tend to say what they mean as well which is good cos I'm too stupid to read between the lines :)

Also I'm so sorry I can't believe I mispelled pastie :..(

Also also I agree smelly people should be sprayed with deodorant until they pass out.

Since that prize money is the case it is TIME TO TRY! THIS ONES FOR YOU PDOT!

I agree on doubles being first as it has always been first, people are used to it that way, and the main reason why it was changed is not even coming, which is AmcD?
And as someone earlier said, since Singles is the main event people might get turned off from Doubles after.
Just have to wait for Aiko to change it.

I think maybe we should increase this crew battle to 15 vs 15 since there is sooo many smashers turning up and the banter would be incredible. But I dunno if some of the extras picked would drag the whole crew down and I dont wanna sound selfish and be like only the best should play this event. So whats other peoples ideas, keep it at 10 vs 10?
10 vs 10 would make the final result more clearly with who has the more dominant players at that tournament but 15 vs 15 would include more people making it fun for everyone.

ALSO these have to be recorded lol, and with the mic. If not I am not attending this tournament.

I dont think people get worked up over the South/North affairs lol, its just that its got sooo much banter that each side wants to win.

and to everyone going on about doubles/singles, remember its not your tourney its ants, he can do what he likes! maybe having doubles last will turn out to be a huge success, at least hes got the balls to host a tourney and mix it up!

He wasn't trying to mix it up he did it for AmcD lol and now that he isnt coming I think he is just contemplating whether he should leave it or not. We know its Ant tourney which is why we are asking Ant if he can change it lol, and we are just peoplez, just trying to live the good life with things how we prefer them to be :)

lol theres no chance brum is north man :( joe u hurt my northern pride with craq like that :( population dont matter. North = nottingham and above man. thats where the psycological north south divide happens and culture is different.

I ALSO AGREE ON THE BEING CLEAN FRONT!!

I walk passed the computer department on my way to my old psychology classes and the smell always brings me back to tourneys. It is nostalgic yet disgusting at the same time!

Ed- Birmingham is midlands, its not fair for them to not have a team to play for lad, and its psih banter to say, oh we'll take you this time and they'll take you next time or anything along those lines.

So there North, they get to have some pride and join in the enormous enjoyment of N v S. if you dont liek it that way then think that were so good were increasing, the south is shrinking

shud jut be 7 v 7 , more players with crapper skils means they get ***** by a good player and the context is less heated and lopsided. better to have 7 players one ach side at a high standard that will produce an exciting crew match

lol this is EXACTLY what I'm talking about the whole grass greener on the other side arguement and tbh go ahead and think that the south is that much better if you want :laugh:. My point is for example. If I were talking to people about where I studied I'd say at the university of Liverpool not 'up north'. If a person from the north goes to say for example portsmouth university they say they were 'down south'
