the 16th is blue and white weekend, and the weekend before is... kinda short notice lol
23rd is two weeks before finals week so i figured it would be fine. should we just do it on the 9th?

Yeah, I'd have to. It'd be a 9 hour bus ride, though. =/ I'll know for sure probably mid-May.

Yo, if people are trying to make this I'll see if I can too. But its only if I get off the days I need from the internship. Also, don't forget Chibo/Vex were offering housing.

Pat, try to see if you can get a ride from the rochester players(San, KID, etc.)

I'll be amazed if at least one of them doesn't go.

I think chibo's full, he's already housing the canadians. I already talked to vex and he's not sure if he'll be able to yet.

I'm still not 100% sure if I can go, but if I can get a job soon I'll def be there. I want to go... which should hopefully be enough to get me there ^_^ main issue for me is housing. I normally wouldn't mind crashing in some sort of public facility, but philly is a large city and I look even less intimidating while I'm asleep (the words "adorable" and "peaceful" have been used), so idk if I feel safe doing that.

Mav if you go will you be driving by state college on the way? I would like to get a ride with someone if possible, the bus times would make me go down friday and leave monday

I doubt it. It would be turnpike the whole way. I'd be making it an even longer trip than it already is (6 hours).
If there's no housing, a bright side would be I'd have money to afford a hotel room.

so, after a long discussion, we decided to have slimfest on the 23rd. We realize 2 weeks is close to finals, but there was no other time we could do it -_- Still, it'll be a nice chance to take a break between studying and getting papers done.

Well first, we won vs D3 and mk with me being ganon, him being link, then won again with him as sheik, me as zelda.

Then he beat bryan's mk with sheik.

it feels weird training this hard b/c i haven't done it since brawl came out, but we're both getting sooo much better ^_^

also, congratulations to Slim for winning a Mortal Kombat tournament! This was the first time he'd played another person, and he won on both ps3 and 360, which he has never played the game on. Get *****, kids who try! ^_^
