And your skill level is far above that of Kursed, Jay, and Rosa, or literally most of the newbies I've seen come through here or AiB. That makes you an outlier to my assumptions rather than the norm.

Uh, on the first day, I sniped an item called which we like to call the neighborizer. It allows me to create a private chat room with up to 2 players. Basically as soon as I got it, I created a neighborhood with Jay and Nabe. We didn't really talk much until later on, when I claimed traitor. I claimed traitor because they both seemed kinda mafia at the time, and the chat was dead, so I figured I would try some secret agent undercover townie fake traitor nonsense. At that point, Nabe decided to reveal everything that happened in the chat room. Laundry thinks we're really all mafia/traitor. I don't know about the others, but I'm innocent.

He was asking questions. It looked like he just wanted to get to the bottom of things and get the game rolling. Later on, he became very fixated on Laundry.
I'm still likely to be jumping the gun. I have no real knowledge that Nabe is the other mafia and that you are traitor. It simply looks that way based purely on my reads. You may have had horrible luck and simply drew one or both scum into your neighborhood (which explains why Jay stayed far the **** away from it), Nabe may not actually be scum with Jay (though I sitll believe that to be fairly likely based on Jay's treatment of that slot). I don't know these things. I just know Jay is mafia.
