Hopefully I don't live to regret that snap decision, but it seemed like the right one to just grab it before it got to anyone weird.

I was gonna walk into today, providing that I didn't die, with a litany of questions prepared for every single member of that neighborhood as to all of their specific actions. A roleblock cut to the chase easier.

Gitgud scum

Like, I just can't fathom that play. Why did you claim the Neighborhood, Nabe? From a townie perspective, especially for the reasons you claimed, there was absolutely zero point to it. Maybe you had some grand scheme to get me to lynch Gorf and then shoot me in the night and try to win the game from there but that seems rude to Maven/Dietz, as Dietz was already suspicious as **** of that move as well.

It seriously just threw the game for your alignment though. There was zero sense to it. A guy claimed traitor in your neighborhood, okay, fine, why did you tell the thread? Despite this, it didn't seem to influence your read on Zalak whatsoever as you walked in and said he's town, so, again, why tell the thread? Then you claim that it was because the Neighborhood is worthless which, even if Jay is barely partaking and you townread the other guy, that's false as **** because you can still talk to the two, improve reads, formulate plans, and convince others in a private setting. Then you also claimed that it's to dodge the NK, as if you were far more likely to draw that than myself or Zalak, but, had you actually been town, saying you were in the Neighborhood was going to get yourself killed (I think, providing killing Zalak didn't end the neighborhood), if not increasing the likeliness of that chance.

Literally no part of your reasons for claiming that added up in the slightest. All it did was make me think that Neighborhood was weird as **** and swing into it hoping I hit.

I did.

And yes, Nabe is likely Jay's partner as he's been doing this weird distancing thing all game to that slot, starting from the very first time I told Nabe not to lurk or I'll lynch him.

And Zalak, why would you blatantly target your two mafia partners after I already pointed out in thread why it made a good deal of sense for the traitor to have a neighborizer?

@ Orboknown Orboknown I just guessed. I thought the Neighborhood looked whack, said Zalak was likely the traitor, then said Nabe wouldn't send the kill out of fear of getting hardread by myself, so I chose Jay.

Because I'm a vanilla townie. Tell me, why do you think I'm mafia?

Also, if this were actually a 3 person neighborhood, can you give me a single good reason would Nabe out all of us?

Aight, Maven's back. Fully read up and ready to roll. I'll buy out Kursed if it comes to it

Gorf's lynch was dumb, I wasn't here for it so I can't complain too much of it, but there were way better slots to push then that.

I really, really cannot believe that the mafia would just...out and out claim their neighborhood and their traitor. That really makes absolutely zero sense, that would be even worse then what Kursed did, who I still think is the scummiest, outside of the RB

Jay being mafia fits easily. There's something I need to point out though.

Laundry has so far defended Kursed for terrible reasons, push Gorf's lynch when it was a terrible decision, and is now suggesting that the mafia out and out claimed both who they were and who their traitor is, and that he'd definitely be NK'd last night when he wasn't after grabbing two items.

That all rubs me very, very wrong. I find it almost impossible to believe the mafia would just no kill on Night 1, which in my opinion almost clears Laundry, but I do not feel comfortable about it.

Since you have yet to deliberately out how your power actually worked, can you give me a single good reason why you're defending Nabe at this moment?

NNONONO LAUNDRY YOU NEED TO SIT DOWN SON. YOUR LOGIC IS BACKWARDS AS H*CK.

What Nabe did makes no sense from a MAFIA perspective, Laundry. It DID make sense from a townie perspective. Nabe's 100% truthful reveal about the neighborhood increased our public knowledge and helped to further our discussion.

Literally no part of your reasons for claiming that added up in the slightest. All it did was make me think that Neighborhood was weird as **** and swing into it hoping I hit.

The neighborhood WAS weird as ****. A mafia member has almost no reason to reveal that.
A guy claimed traitor in your neighborhood, okay, fine, why did you tell the thread? Despite this, it didn't seem to influence your read on Zalak whatsoever as you walked in and said he's town, so, again, why tell the thread?

The more the town knows about me, the more they have to go off of for their reads on me.

Nabe reading me as town does NOT mean my traitor reveal didn't influence their read. Maybe Nabe caught on to what I was actually trying to do (be an undercover townie)? Assuming Nabe is townie, outing me wouldn't harm me in any significant way. I would have had no cover to be blown, as my secret strategy required me to correctly guess both mafia members.

Then you claim that it was because the Neighborhood is worthless which, even if Jay is barely partaking and you townread the other guy, that's false as **** because you can still talk to the two, improve reads, formulate plans, and convince others in a private setting.
"talk to the two"
"convince others"
More like talk to ZALAK and convince ZALAK while JAYTHEUNSEEN IS QUIETLY WATCHING. BESIDES, revealing who's in the neighborhood doesn't prevent us from talking privately. We can still formulate plans and stuff. It's just public information that we can do that.

You gave me a decidedly null answer of "I like private communication as any alignment." I listened.

I MEAN LATER ON, AFTER NABE OUTED US.

I'm also aware. I couldn't make sense of it either. But:

Jay being mafia fits easily. There's something I need to point out though.
This is true.
Jay having little subtle digs at Nabe whenever convenient also makes sense if Nabe his partner.
Which means that Zalak either really, really conveniently targeted both mafia as a vanilla and had no clue, or is traitor who deliberately targeted both (as I assumed he did it early in the day).

Laundry has so far defended Kursed for terrible reasons, push Gorf's lynch when it was a terrible decision, and is now suggesting that the mafia out and out claimed both who they were and who their traitor is, and that he'd definitely be NK'd last night when he wasn't after grabbing two items.

Gorf's lynch was terrible but I wasn't getting the Nabe lynch and Gorf's lack of action and content desire to sit on Rosa rubbed me the wrong way. I should've pressed it sooner to get more out of Gorf but what's done is done.

You can whine about Kursed. I don't think the slot is scum. Anti-town as ****, sure, but I think his play is comparatively different than the Mini where he deliberately dipped from the thread the second he got called out. He didn't do that here, he didn't hide, which makes me think he is more likely to be town. His willingness to admit his read on me was weak but that he was trying to flesh it out and make sense of it reeks of legitimate attempts at reading me.

It makes zero ****ing sense from a townie perspective. I already laid out why, don't give me that. It didn't "further discussion", it didn't "increase our public knowledge" because there was zero reason to make it public.

Oh, and the neighorizer works exactly as you would expect it to. The only things that might not be 100% obvious are the neighborhood is destroyed when I die, and I don't have to choose my neighbors at the same time.
