SUPER FANTASTICAL GEORGIA FUNFEST
​

Hey, guys.
I never get the chance to hang out with a lot of you peeps outside of tournaments.
I miss how we used to get together after a tournament, and just hang out. Maybe play some Mafia.
So, I want to organize a FUNFEST.
Not a smashfest, though I'm SURE someone will bring a setup, and people will play on it. XD
The idea is that we all spend like, a weekend hanging out, playing NOT smash bros.

ACTIVITIES
=========================

We could:
- Play Mafia
- Play Mario Party
- Play Dungeon Explorer
- Play Card games (Pokemon / Magic / Mental Magic)
- Play Pool / Air Hockey / Chess (All available in my basement).
- Watch Movies
- Anything else.


Bring setups for these games you want to play.
I have the bigscreen TV for main event games.
I have my little TV for other stuff.
I own 1 Wii and 1 gamecube.
I have wifi available for laptops and junk.
BYOC.

At mealtimes, we can all go out to a big buffet or something.
Like Johnboys, Ryan's, Stevie B's, or Golden Corral.

Keep the noise to a dull roar during the day.
I live with my folks, and they don't like it when things get too rowdy downstairs. (The pool room is right below their bedroom.)

Don't be a slob.
I hate cleaning up a giant mess.
I'll have extra trash cans available for this weekend.
F*cking use them or I'll cut you so bad you wish I not cut you so bad.

Stay away from the bar.
There's a bar in the basement, adjacent to the pool room.
No you can't have anything from it.
Stay the f*ck away from it.

No free food.
There's no door fee, so there's no free goodies.
I'm not going to feed you.
I may buy some cokes or juice for the weekend if I can spare the money.
... But if you want food, bring it or buy it.

TOURNAMENT
=========================

THERE WILL BE A SMASH BROS (MELEE/BRAWL) TOURNAMENT HERE.
RULES: ALL ITEMS ON, ALL STAGES ON. THIS GOES FOR BOTH GAMES.
NO STOCK MATCHES. 5 MINUTE TIMER. POSSIBILITY IS HEAVY FOR COIN BATTLE.
STAGES FOR EACH MATCH ARE DECIDED BY ME / POPULAR OPINION.
THERE IS NO POT FEE.
GRAND PRIZE IS THIS TROPHY:



GET SALTY.

You don't see any other state doing ideas like this. Playing Non-Smash games with your Smash friends sounds so awesome. They've become more and more plentiful. I'd like to say it started with my smashfest :3

I'm game for whatever, honestly. I prefer playing Gauntlet with a bunch of friends (because I never could before) probably more than I enjoy playing Smash.

It's obvious you like buffets, Desu. Lol.

ideas for other games:
Mario kart 64
smash 64
pokemon puzzle league
if we have 2 set ups we could have super mario bros (1/3) world runs or level speed runs.

unfortunately im the most high school of all high schoolers and cannot go to this

but ya

either that or tales of phantasia (GBA English localization) speed runs.

Now won't that be FUN?

i remember using all my $50-ish birthday money and then trying to win bids on that ToE/ToD II game by not passing that limit.

i finally got the game and it was pretty awesome for the most.

first impressions were pretty shady tho

those voices kinda scared me

actually they still kinda do

especially one of Reid's lines...where he says food

like FO-UH-OD.

O_O;

i wonder how fast tales of the abyss would load off an USB HDD.

...

non-laggy overworlds? o.o
