Right? A good number of people unironically hate me because "hey guys, Nintendo's going to make some pretty kick ass announcements in 2020 according to some of my insider friends and my own research" is a statement that's literally so unbelievable that it justifies harassment of not only me but my friends and family.

I can see your point, but it's annoying at the lack of transparency nontheless
I had to write parking tickets to get through grad school so you can say that I'm kind of numb to harassment and death treats at this point. At least with this stuff I don't have people damaging my car, trying to run me over, or discovering people sitting outside my apartment at like 2 in the morning, trying to get the nerve to destroy mine or my now wife's stuff.

Darn right. We gotta keep the awareness up for your guys' starry boy (though pretty soon that'll be unnecessary once Geno gets in Smash).
While i still think this will be the best of the 3 I can't help but feel that it just looks really cluttered and overdesigned. I wish that they would just persue what they want whether we like it or not instead of trying to half heartedly appeal to everyone and lose focus. Maybe I'm reading this wrong but it feels like they were pressured into going back to the old ideas and this was the compromise everyone agreed on.

I know that Smash reveals don't usually seem to fall on anniversaries, but I'm thinking the 16th is a good bet. They could reveal the ARMS Fighter then, and then release them a week or two after the fact, which would still fall within the June release window.

Considering we ended up getting paper mario info on a friday, i think its definitely possible for us to get a smash announcement on monday with a presentation on tuesday.

Given that I don't see any existing Smash videos in that available now playlist, I'm going to wager that the remaining video isn't our reveal or Sakurai presents.
Isn't that the available now playlist? If the Smash DLC is not available by the time the video comes out, I don't see how it is fit to be on the Available Now page.

Yes, one of the unlisted videos is in that playlist. I don't see any other Smash reveals/videos in that playlist, so unless they remove them down the line the remaining video isn't Smash.
I Have a doubt that will happen then. The tournament may end by then, if I remember correctly, but I don't think they will wait that long to show the trailer or trailers.
