Yes, but Geno won't get in unless Square-Enix allows it. Nintendo nor Sakurai has the power to change that. And copyright with Square-Enix is a ***** so they probably have to go through more legal **** just to get him in as a playable character even though they already have a Spirit of him in the game.
The year is 2049. Smash Kurfuffle has taken the world by storm with a 999 character roster. The entire cast of FF7 and Kingdom Hearts is now playable along with DQ Hero, Chocobo, 2B, Chrono, Gex, Lara Croft and Agnes Oblige. Meanwhile, Geno is still nowhere to be found and the resistance mounts their boldest offensive yet against the Square Enix stronghold....
Fake as all hell. And honestly, with exceptions like Doomguy/Master Chief, I'm sick and tired of realistically proportioned human characters being added over more cartoony or nonhuman ones in DLC. Banjo is the only FP character I really cared for not just because of my disregard for most RPGs, but every other fighter was just a freakin human and they had playstyles I didn't like.
I actually main the plant. Won a few local tournaments in my area with him actually. I love plant.
I totally get and understand that. That's like the only thing keeping him from being a guarantee at this point, but there's just a pile of evidence/unconfirmed leaks. Even taking the leaks out, he's got Sakurai's approval and the copyright takedowns, along with the disappearance of his Sm4sh costume that didn't come with Hero. I really, truly, can't see that as adding up to nothing. That would be the most crushing defeat ever.
Holy ****, it looks so bad. You can very clearly see the polygons that make up her model, and why the hell would the unlock screen be shown in the reveal trailer? Clearly fake.

Agreed. I'm really tired of human characters. Literally every character I want are cartoony or non-human
Well, it IS the year 2049 so they've softened up a bit......but there's still only two songs....for ALL of them combined....

Without me showing proof, which I will, would they really show that much? It's not even a covered up model which it would NEED to be, if Mai couldn't even get in as a cameo, when it's way easy RIGHTS WISE to cover up Mai then 2B by a long shot.

I played 1 GS game. I have almost no attachment to the series nor do I want Isaac. But I'd be glad if he got in. He's even in my sig of honorable mentions.
Ok, I'll come out as an Isaac bro. He and Geno were my staunches picks up until his untimely demise in Ultimate. Alas, I really want Golden Sun representation but it's the pipest of pipe dreams right now, I know.
Isaac has an Assist Trophy in Brawl and Ultimate and has a Mii costume so he is far from a pipe dream. The way I see it, once a character get's Assist Trophy or a Mii costume they're very likely contenders to be playable characters in a future Smash game especially if they get both like Isaac has gotten.
He's not in my top 5, but I think out of all characters who would be considered sword users he is probably number 2? Behind Nightmare/Yoshimitsu. I just like Golden Sun and would love to see him use earth magic in an interesting way which could really shake up gameplay.
The problem though is Ultimate seems to be Sakurai's Magnum Opus and could very well be the final Smash game, at least that he works on. Though TBH I'm hoping we just keep getting ports of it with each new game putting in another few characters or something, lol.

Why people have the fascination of doing "who is going to be cut in Smash 6" videos when Smash is still relatively young and we don¨t even know if we are getting another one (the franchise is probably gonna continue as a port if I have to guess)
I honestly don¨t know. Why? Back in January, Captain Zack found a visual glitch for Bayonetta that could be an indicator of something. Simon and Richter had a visual glitch with their whip animation which was used for Byleth. And based on what I know of 2B and Bayonetta, I don¨t think it's hard to imagine the possibility to see Sakurai using Bayonetta as a model for 2B would she be a fighter for the fighters pass and the glitch actually mean something.
I really do want a fighter who uses a spear as a main weapon, but those aren't as common.
Or even just “Is your character the protag from a series with melee weapons?” Main characters use swords.
I'm dead serious when I say that the "too many swordsmen" thing is really going to be a problem further down the road. Sakurai holds "uniqueness" as the most prized aspect of a character's moveset, but as evidenced by the vast majority of swordies, there's only so much originality you can give to a sword user. Period. There will come a point where all future swordies will basically be a mix-and-match of pre-existing swordies which will be a huge turn-off for a lot of people, myself included.
Honestly, I think the sword complaints really boil down to 'No more FE swordsman in Smash' and 'No more FE reps period,' but leaning more on the first one.
