SSGuy, as mad as you are over that, FF will always, and I mean always come first to SE. FF is like their version of Mario for Nintendo, but to an even higher degree. It's the series that saved the company; part of its namesake was that it was their final attempt before going bankrupt. They got a lucky break and that game many moons ago that was made before I was born saved the company. Of course they'll always push it before anything else. FF7's also regarded as "the best FF" (even though I respectfully disagree) which is why Cloud was the first Square rep in Smash and generally seen as a mascot of the series as much as Chocobos, Moogles, and to a lesser degree, Cactuar ("Cactus Man") and Tonberries, even though he's only in one mainline game as opposed to the others being in many more.

Aaaaaanyway, Geno's got extremely high chances. He's gonna be in. Square just has to prop up FF first (and DQ second).

Used. Somewhere from 40 to 80 dollars at the time. I don't honestly remember the price. It might be on the cartridge, I guess?

I think it might have a less good battery now, though.

I also remember playing it on an emulator. The 3D part made it difficult to play without a controller. ._.;

It's like your child that ended up saving your life when you OD or get stabbed or something. Geno's just the younger child who didn't have a life-threatening situation happen to his parent so he never got a chance to save them. However, he did grow up bringing RPGs to Western mainstream, which is still an accomplishment for sure, just not as impressive as saving lives (or rather a company).

Generic RPG enemies are stupid and/or incompetent about 99% of the time so I would say that we're totally justified in calling them mooks.

I haven't followed any of the leaks at all , but I'm still hoping that Geno get in this fighter pass. I was very happy to get my bear and bird , but I admit that the first fighter pass didn't interested me much outside of that.

I still find it impressive how active Geno support remain , even after the spirit and Hero. Show how dedicated Geno folks are.

Crazy idea regarding FP2: What if the Pokemon votes for "Pokemon of the Year" were a way to gauge interest for an Obligatory Pokemon Rep? Dragapult won for Gen 8, though if he'd be too hard to make a kit for, Toxtricity came just barely in second by about 2k votes, then it starts to drop off hard from there. Like I said, crazy idea, but if we get a Pokemon rep much later in the FP, I wouldn't be surprised if it was influenced by this if it's not blatant shill DLC rep.

If I may be blunt, Yes, but not all the time. More recently you have shown this sort of attitude that just seems belittling to anyone who can hear you. "Logically speaking" speaks to me in a way that an adult talks to a kid, if that makes sense.

I am glad you caught this though. I always enjoyed your input on things in the past, but this recent "you" has not set well with me. Though, Western Smash fanbase is pretty bad right now. That I can agree with.

No offense, but aside from the state of the western fanbase of Smash, you getting on the case of this guy is not cool, especially how you are doing it. I mean, it is okay to not like someone, but saying those things about PapaGenos, if that is who you are talking about is not a good way to go about it. There are better ways to handle these kinds of things. Plus, it doesn't help how you have been acting the last few days. Just because one person alone, which is just one person, agrees with you, does not mean you are right, and does not mean you are any more better than the guy you pick on, either.

If you change the battery, do it the right way, get the proper battery holder off mouser(they fit perfectly in the snes and the pins line fine, only slight modifications needed compared to any other battery holder), and make sure to solder it in right.

Then you only have to swap the battery out and never do any more solder work.

Pretty much anything to fight that could be crit with Whirl and was annoying to fight (the ants in the desert) or anything with a ton of targets and you think you can end it decent fast with AoE (Culex and Axem Rangers, if you can survive their onslaught).

As a dumb kid, I always ran Peach+Bowser but as a more educated adult, I normally run Peach+Geno. Mallow gets replaced by Bowser, Bowser by Peach. Mallow takes the 2nd (non-Peach) spot for fight particularly weak to Lighting or a bunch weak to Ice, but generally just run Geno for everything since he's also got nice Attack too. I wish Mallow maybe had an AoE healing spell like Group Hug as that would have greatly made him better. Replace Psychopath for it and put it on Bowser or something, idk.

Been a ganon main since pm. Something about the king of disrespect drew me in. In 4 I also loved how literally *EVERYONE* always underestimated how well he could gimp recoveries. True he was easily gimped himself and was always at a disadvantage, but so many players got cocky when they saw it was a ganon, and played sloppy, then when they realized it was a ganon that knew what they were doing, they got even sloppier....out of fear.


Of course soon as geno gets in the king will be taking his retirement...

Gotta agree with Matt here: I get there may be delays, but some sort of announcement is needed. Sony isn't playing any games with this virus and we already know about their cancellations weeks to months in advance.

I think we may be getting a Direct that is being re-recorded in some areas due to a delay, and since that stuff needs to be properly edited and re-shot, that takes time.

Also I meant that whole 'Are We The Baddies' thing as a joke, but I guess it didn't quite fly like that. I've always been someone who strives to be more logical in a world that more and more throws it in the trash and bases everything on how they feel at that particular moment. The sudden splurge of me showing my irritation is just the fact that my limit has been reached on seeing this thread spin donuts in the parking lot.

I have a disease, and the only prescription is more logical analysis! Honestly, I'm rooting for a Direct 1st week of March but my gut and brain say second week at the soonest.

Also CannonStreak I have no idea what you are on about. Earlier you said I would lose subscribers due to cringe posting but I barely have any as is and I'm not an active content creator as much fun as that could be. Now you are assuming I'm harassing PapaGenos when all I did was disagree with him and critique his content instead of blindly supporting him. It's a known fact that PapaGenos rarely covers anything that isn't major Nintendo or Smash news, so him making a video that feels like bottom-barrel content to me is something I will point out as someone who has supported him since he first started to take off.
