I would also use him.

Maybe not as much as Hero, Samus or Ridley but still a good amount of time.

Eh, the Direct will come when it comes. I'm excited to see the future of the game, but I've got plenty to occupy my time with Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled, Pokemon Sword, Death Stranding, and way too much Rocket League with friends keeping me busy.

Is it bad half the reason I'm eagerly anticipating the next update is so I can get those Tetris and Daemon X Machina Spirits I missed?

Most companies I believe don't release info, patches, or much of anything during the holidays so if we do get a Direct soon I'm hoping it's the week of Jan 5th, if not the week after.

Hopefully this is the last Christmas without Geno and when next year's Christmas happens he will be in already :)

On the topic of how much I'd use Geno in Smash, I'd definitely add him to my list of mains in a heartbeat. I'm not even too worried with how he plays since I'll just try my best to master his playstyle anyway. After all, I still play a lot of :ultwario: despite me sucking as him compared to my other mains because I just love the character.

Not really, no. Me being the completionist I am and not being as interested in fighter 5 as opposed to who might come after it, I'm just waiting the next update to get the missing Zacian/Zamazenta and Galar starters Spirits in my inventory as much as you are to get those.

You don’t have to wait for the next update to get them back, you can find them in the Spirit Board or the shop

I must have tough luck then.

I haven’t found the Daemon X Machina spirits ever since the event finished.

If you missed the Spirits the first time around, they don't come back until the next update puts them in rotation. They're only in your rotation if you got them while the event was going on until said update.

That said, I do expect the next update will be a sizable one. The time between Joker and E3 was long and drawn out, and it resulted in 2 characters being revealed at E3. I imagine Nintendo realizes that people want to know more about those post pass characters, so they'll likely be ready to unveil either an additional individual character or even downright how future DLC will be handled (if we go by the Banjo presentation and say that it was all recorded on the same day, that means they've decided on additional characters since July of this year), so I have slightly elevated expectations for our next bit of Smash Bros. news. Maybe not a ton of additional content like new modes, but I could see a couple of surprises with this next one.

I think this is the last thing KFAD has that is Geno related, as they have been releasing the victory themes for those who never won. Turns out Geno also had a version that would've gone unused, but since the the one they chose never got used in the first place, the distinction seems a bit weird.

As someone who jumps on Spirit Board events the hour they come out and is sitting pretty at the current maximum of 1375 spirits? No.

I've been taking a much-needed social break from a lot of everything due to accumulating stress from work and life offline, but I'm dropping in to extend a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and an all-around Happy Holidays to everybody in here, as well as a Happy New Year. May 2020 bring all of us good tidings and joy, and may this also include certain things on our Smash Ultimate wishlist as well. :ultduckhunt:

Hey guys, it's been kind of a dry season so I've been less active on here lately. I wanted to stop by and wish everybody a Merry Christmas! Let's put a good word in for Santa Clause to leave a Geno doll under Sakurai's Christmas tree - and if he doesn't have a Christmas tree Santa can leave a Geno doll sitting squarely (ha) on Sakurai's desk *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Let's hope 2020 comes with some wonderful news for our blue boi - in the meantime enjoy this silly mock-up I did of Wolf and his PAINDEER reindeer.

Well, it looks like SilvaGunner is posting the victory themes for all characters, there were some real bopping themes, and I'm glad we finally get to hear Geno's... two victory themes?! It's a shame Geno got out so early, but it was a fun little side thing to watch. (or rather, listen to!)
