So Ratchet and Clank please? If the fighter 5 is a wildcard character, it maybe a character that is much more associated with the PlayStation like Joker.
Hey man sorry for lashing out on you earlier today about your listWe will get a halloween direct. Leon Kennedy will be in Smash.
All good haha.Hey man sorry for lashing out on you earlier today about your list
that was proven to be teen titans goAlso, fighter 5 could potentially be Lloyd Irving. A good number of you may or may not remember Lloyd being speculated due to his original voice actor's tweet about a secret voice over project and the Tales series seemingly getting trademarked logos about a couple weeks or so ago. Just something to keep in mind while we're on this wild ride.
Oh? I missed that. I am selfishly glad that anime swordsman #402 is not coming to Smash.that was proven to be teen titans go
I personally doubt that that was some kind of 4D chess move. The fan outcry from that interview could absolutely be what started the single-game port in the first place, since a digital-only release of 1/3rd of a remastered collection they already made last year could easily, easily be done in that time frame. He’s definitely very possible as post-Pass DLC, though.Okay, so I have no info, but I feel like the fifth fighter is going to be Dante from Devil May Cry. Back in February Itsuno said that if fans want Dante in Smash Bros then they need campaign for Devil May Cry to be on Switch first. Then three months later Capcom announce Devil May Cry 1 is releasing on Switch in June.
Now I may not be that knowledgeable when it comes to game development but I doubt they could get a Switch port done in less than 4 months from when they said that comment. So that should mean that Itsuno knew that Devil May Cry ports were coming when asked about Dante in Smash Bros. He never denied it, so maybe something something is happening.
Yeah. It's not Smash related.Oh? I missed that. I am selfishly glad that anime swordsman #402 is not coming to Smash.
Well, when Nintendo accidentally leaked the SNK rep, Challenger Pack 5 also had a page with no new copyright information. Probably a placeholder, but it could mean something.Personally, if I had to guess, I doubt that the final fighter will actually be from any company associated with the base game.
Dang. Maybe he’ll come later or be in the next game. At least Microsoft considered him good and big enough to use as bait; maybe they even tried using others as bait. Since it would have been from earlier last year, though, I'm sure he still has a chance for Season 2.I talked about this way back in April but, yeah, Sabi shared with us two contacts super close to Microsoft. Both said Banjo was very likely and one more or less flat out said that Steve was "deliberate misinformation." Again, this doesn't mean he can't happen but, yeah, it seems he was a red herring to hide Banjo coming to Smash from potential leakers.
Yep, apparently she was told neither is the fifth dlcHey guys. Sabi said something about Ryu H. and Crash?
So DLC 5 will not be Ryu Hayabusa, Crash or whoever else is a frontrunner such as Doomguy. I have no idea who it's pointing too, but I hope it's Geno.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ....... interesting.Asked Sabi directly. Doesn't seem like she is really having much faith in the Mii Costume list now with the latest development.

She said, that she’s not leaning towards Hayabusa as the 5th fighter and her source said “No Crash No Tracer” but that may imply that Crash is not the 5th fighter and could happen later.Hey guys. Sabi said something about Ryu H. and Crash?
lol i know - it was a picture of buzzlight year going "hmmmmm"Pic's not loading
Ah, a man of culture.-A shock Sony rep, like Kratos or Ratchet
I've been here through this thread, and even I don't know what the hell happenedMy god I need a quick rundown of what just happened :/
we back to square one, ryu and crash not going to be dlc 5 according to another insider who leaked terry or somethingMy god I need a quick rundown of what just happened :/
Sabi’s comment on that is kinda worrying. I really hope theyre just mistaken and Geno has a better shot than we thinkwe back to square one, ryu and crash not going to be dlc 5 according to another insider who leaked terry or something
sabi said the mii costume thing COULD be fake but fatmanonice said that she might just be avoiding a firm yes or no on that
You also have to take QA into consideration. I know that it wouldn't take that much work to port, but four months seems way too quick, especially when there was already an outcry for DMC games on Switch when the Remaster Trilogy was announced along. Plus they wouldn't start on the port immediately when Itsuno made that comment, so we're look at around 3 months to make that port which seems unreasonable since you have to test it and transfer the code to another system. I'm not saying Dante is in, but there's probably something to take into consideration on what Itsuno said.I personally doubt that that was some kind of 4D chess move. Figures.that was proven to be teen titans go
It’s actually not too unreasonable at all considering how often Capcom ports stuff to the Switch, especially from that era. However, the key word here is “digital-only”. If it was a retail release, then absolutely, the turnaround time would make no sense, but for Capcom’s veteran porting team on a port where most of the work was done the previous year, three months seems absolutely feasible. You also have to take QA into consideration. This rollercoaster ride is only going to be crazier throughout the rest of the month and into November when Terry is released. If we don't get some info regarding our next character by then I can only imagine the Smash community will be even more crazy with some speculation. Honestly I can see the next character's reveal at the Game Awards at the latest but at least expect some new info sometime in November.I think one of my biggest concerns at the moment is that we're entering the next phase of the speculation cycle where people will begin to go after those such as Sabi, or our own fatmanonice, and demand further clarification, further details, less confusion, more certainty, and on and on.
Considering the wild rollercoaster that we've been witness to just today, I wouldn't be surprised if the more ravenous of the Smash kingdom start to go this route, though I'm hoping this wouldn't be the case.
I think that sort of thing is always present to a degree, but it will likely excel in due time. I imagine the announcement of more characters outside of the pass relieved such behavior a bit, but that only lasts so long.I think one of my biggest concerns at the moment is that we're entering the next phase of the speculation cycle where people will begin to go after those such as Sabi, or our own fatmanonice, and demand further clarification, further details, less confusion, more certainty, and on and on.
