Sabi specifically says the character but nothing about Terry or any of the other SNK likelys are ones that'd have everyone assuming some other non-SNK fighter. So it has to be in the trailer or something super unlikely is happening that no one has thought of.

About Sabi? Well, she said on Twitter there is a 4chan leak out there that's legit that reveals the final two Season Pass fighters. And according to her, she's heard the name of one of them enough that she is pretty sure it's said character.

We need a 2nd Square-Enix rep in the Pass so we can get Geno. But yeah, I would be disappointed if any other company got two reps in the Pass.

Man, it sounds like it's Terry. I'm okay with that, but it's a shame that the DLC is becoming all male characters. Sakurai must really love Ken so he included his SNK Rival. Really hoping for Mai though. And super nervous about what Sabi is saying since she said implode and I hope that doesn't mean Crash. I personally don't want that character.

At least personally, this would be a better outcome to me than the other 4chan one. I have zero connection with Hayabusa (or anything SNK for that matter, and Terry's in both) but Doomguy has been one of my top picks since the beginning.

Anyway. the only characters that I think could really cause "dogs and cats live together, mass hysteria" is
Waluigi, Sans, and Geno like Datboigeno but I would add Isaac, Steve from Minecraft and "shivers"... Goku from Dragon Ball. Maybe Crash or Rayman

Edit - A FE character as well but for all the wrong reasons

I really don´t think someone like Doomguy or Ryu would get really as much discussion like former... but maybe thats just me. They would be celebrated, but I don´t really think they would be on the part that Sabi seem to indicate, but maybe thats just me

As Evil Trapezium said earlier, we also still have all the placeholders unaccounted for and multiple fighters passes is kind of name of the game nowadays. It also helps that Ultimate was released pretty early in the Switch's history and that a lot of Nintendo's DLC has had long tails. Based on the sheer popularity of Smash, I could easily see it having a 2 year cycle like Splatoon 2 or even longer. All this said, expecting this pass to be the total end of everything is not a super smart bet to make at the moment.
