But seriously, if Ken and Isai get back into form, they'd be good additions... but I'm still not sure if they'd deserve the spots though. We have five months. I doubt Isai would do it, though. Since Melee isn't the ONLY option anymore, Isai pretty much reverted back to 64, since it was always his true ambition. However, Ken.. I'm not sure... I can't see him going to Genesis in shape.

I do agree that jeff hasn't played his best ( mainly last night ) but you hafto be a idiot to not add him to the WC crew. Ask any lockins for WC and I'm sure they'll agree.

Most of the players in the EC crew would wreck Jeff... (ESPECIALLY CACTUAR!) Jeff needs to step up his game vs other match ups.. and get a bit better vs spacies IMO.

The EC is good but everyone has their bad match ups. I think the most important thing to do for the WC is to have a good understanding of our opponents. Sure, Cactuar is a very strong player, but what if his Fox is bad vs Falco? Or his Marth is bad vs CF? If we learn their player's weaknesses, we can simply counter pick our way to victory.

as far as texas goes.. isnt that south?

you guys can discuss this as well on the norcal forums as well =D i know its weird to do it in both places..

but ultimately i need a thread from each region in those forums for the crews.

Texas IS in the south but they teamed with WC for Pound 3.. Unless if there is a crew for the south, it'd be awesome if Texas joined WC.

pleaseplaseplaspelaspel spread the word out for the genesis forums.. im afraid not everyone will see the updates we have for genesis, since are going to slowly transfer all info from the swf threads to the norcalsmash forums.

imo everyone that isnt going to be on the crew shouldn't be posting about the crew because people are throwing out some very ****ty suggestions

You're ****ing ******** if you think Timmy does though. The guy is good, but he definitely isn't good enough to be on the coast's top 10.

p.s.

I think Jeff can step it up easily...

But...

He hasn't been so hot recently. Esp yesterday... but apparently, he was sick... soo.. I guess he's off the hook for that.

But still, we already have 7 keepers... IMO

(Mango, Forward, Taj, Wobbles, King, HugS, Ka-master)

We have three slots left, with a GIANT pool of players to choose from. Then again, some from my 7 can be booted off, but I really don't think they should.

The last three can probably be Zhu, Joey, and Jeff......

But we'll see how things work out in the next 5 months.

honestly, i think its way to early to start a debate on who should have the picks on the WC team.

a lot of people are getting back into melee just for genesis.. and 6 months from now a lot of things can change..

also just because jeff lost to germ doesnt necessarily mean that jeff is getting worse..
also perhaps germ is just getting better? he also beat falcomist link vs falco as well..

as far as bobby goes over wobbles.. bobby right now is in rust mode.. but i honestly believe whole heartedly that if bobby gets back into melee 100% that he would definitely be top 3 contender in the wc team. and im dead serious about that.

right now i think we should just focus on getting better and not think about the ec team destroying us.. which they wont honestly.. cause our line up come july will be beast.

if you believe you should be on the list.. just place and play better.. thats about it. also..

whoever the WC team captain is.. must make a thread in the www.norcalsmash.com/forums and place their top 10/12 in the first post.

i have already posted what should be in the post.. and how many people will be used for the crews.. so just look on that thread in the www.norcalsmash.com/forums.

I could have sworn Jeff did poorly at another tournament or two in the past month.

Then again, that might have just been my imagination.
