Still wondering what next new Mario game is coming next, I think another one would come out around this year.
IIRC, Charles Martinet said there was something big coming our way aside from Galaxy 2 a while ago. I don't think anything to fit the description has surfaced, so Nintendo might have a surprise in store for us later this year.

Maybe at E3? I do remember Martinet saying he was going to work on something that wasn't Galaxy 2.

Agreed, and when he had said that he specifically said he was going to Seattle today (a few months ago) to do some voice clips, claiming they weren't for SMG2 but it was still going to be exciting and fun.

Which leads me to believe we're getting another spin-off game of some sort.

I imagine Martinet's Mario voice would get really annoying if it was constantly spouting full sentence like I imagine would happen with a cartoon.

Super Mario Bros. Super Show for life
How so? His Mario voice sounds okay to me, I think it's gotten deeper compared to his earlier works.

He's saying that Mario talking full sentences would be weird with Martinet's voice.

Lol was Martinet in mario teaches typing? Still, in NSMBWii when mario says "it's mario time" when you choose him. Imagine him talking like that.

Yeah he was in Mario Teaches Typing (it's not well known, but the series of similar games made in 94-96 (including MTT) were Martinet's game debut NOT SM64 as most people think).

Does anyone have any videos for new super mario bros wii that speedruns the multiplayer coin battle stages?

I remeber Japan having a coin battle comp and i'm trying to find videos of gameplay since i want to get a fast time as well as collect heaps of coins in each stage.

So I was playing Super Mario Advance 2 for the first time in a while. I got to Choco Valley 2.

Mario games need more stages like that one. It's such a cool mechanic that is just being wasted if it isn't being used.

I'm surprised I didn't see Dino Rhino or Dino Torch in New Super Mario Bros, also a 3up Moon. )=

When I first played Chocolate Island, I got very confused in nearly every level, lol.

Especially that one that made you loop in that circle on the map. You had to quickly get through it quickly.

I never thought that level was tough to do fast. Choco island is a maze, though. Heck, all of Super Mario World had some stellar and difficult map/level design. If only the same overworld theme didn't get boring fast.

I'm sad Charging Chucks haven't made a comeback. Huzzah for Torpedo Teds coming back in Galaxy though.

Choco Island 3?

What really makes Super Mario World fun is that there was a good chunk of levels that were just downright fun or had a secret within it that made the level worthwhile. There were the monotonous levels like Forest of Illusion 2, Donut Plains 2, and some Yoshi's Island levels too, sure. But then we had Donut Plains Ghost House, Valley Ghost House, Forest of Illusion 3, Choco Valley 2, Vanilla Dome 4, Donut Plains 1, and FREAKING SUNKEN GHOST SHIP.

People might think they're drunk, ahaha.

I'm slightly new here, the name's Terywj but people usually call me Tery.
I've pretty much played every Mario game, so I want to take more time to get involved with the community here. I'm from the PokeCenter, and spend most of my time there and the Media Metropolis.

Hope to have a good time. :)

I remember watching like 2 episodes of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. The one with Yoshi in it.

IIRC, he voice was so wheezy it was hilarious.

It's not really Tetris, if you watch you connect three in a row of the same shape or more, and you can move them AFTER they've landed, plus when you get enough blocks cleared, it sends a gigantic block to the opponent's screen. Basically, you're attacking with blocks that fall like in Tetris, hence the name Tetris Attack. It's even more fun when you go against someone else.
