Wobbling is not the only infinite
There is the jab infinite and the Blizzobble.

Also, sad that I wasn't on that list of players for creativities or something =/

I thought wobbling WAS the jab infinite? And god, I can't even do normal blizzards doing a CG, I can't do a Blizzobble.

Nuh uh. *shakes head*

nuh uh

I've tried beating a stomp with a Utilt

I was just going by frame data. I'm not talking about priority mind you, if you use the Utilt before he gets too close to you, wouldn't it hit him before the dair hit-boxes reach you?

Eh, I consider the Jab Infinite and Blizzoble alternate forms of Wobbling.

Sorry for not putting you on the list, I can only remember so many players :(

I think it can, yeah. I've been testing it, and it seems that if I mistime it, he'll dair ME, but Nana will utilt him. Which is actually really terrible, because then Nana stands around like a moron and gets ****ed up.

That reminds me. Why is Nana such a god**** idiot? I'll get smacked off the stage and in a position where if Nana jumped to me, I could Up-B back to the stage, but on stages like FD, she runs to the OPPOSITE EDGE and just sits there. I think my Nana has a death wish.

Nana is just an idiot, plain and simple. Try not to over de-synch against characters who can take advantage of Nana's stupidity (Falcon, Sheik, Fox) is the only advice I can give.

I feel like I'm playing as a babysitter, not a tag team. Bleh.

The thing is, Ganon will dair, I'll shield it, I'll get pushed one way but Nana will get pushed the other way, and then it's just over. He'll just throw her off the edge and focus on me. I'm put on the spot because I need to get in and hit him so he can't mess up Nana, but he'll be waiting for me and hit me before I can get in, then I'm damaged, Nana's toast, and he probably won.

Admittedly, that's really not TOO terrible. My SoPo's arguably better than my ICs, but it's still a pain, can't CG. I need to get used to either spot dodging or wavedashing more frequently. I already do it a lot, but not always when it's super useful. Surprise WD bairs are surprisingly useful.

Speaking of that, is there a trick to uair -> bair? I can't seem to do it, the uair knocks them too high. Am I starting the uair too late?

Once you are more confident with wave-dashing, baiting Ganon's dair and punishing it becomes much easier.

You should be doing a rising up air, then double jump and hit with bair. There is no trick to it, I can't see any way of messing it up xD

Well at certain percentages it doesn't work. Really it usually doesn't work due to DI or %. Uair>uair is much more common.

oh sweet lord

desynced grab tilt combos are complete ****. Dair CG + blizzards (finally) to dthrow -> dair -> utilt -> uair -> bair -> rage.

Haha.

You will soon learn the difference between "useful", "best option" and "complete ****" when it comes to Grab stuff with ICs.

Not in the least. Oftentimes in order to achieve ****, you have to give up a more efficient option, meaning you're taking more risks, which can lead to you overall losing more games. :c

Problem is, I always play taking risks...I lose a lot of games, but during those games I usually can pull off one or two absolute **** combos.

I should probably stop doing that.

messing with people's DI is KEY. people get so flustered when when they THINK they know how to get out of a CG, but you choose a different option which makes it worse for them

my favorite is the down-away DI for spacies to get out of a standard dthrow dair, but i simply fsmash them and they die at 60.

or when they're at 100 and they THINK i'm gonna fsmash them, but i dthrow dair 2 or 3 more times and then smash them at 150.

every ic's should use trademark/personal stuff like this, it can really help you get into your opponent's head.

So I'm starting to react a little better to Ganon. Still having spacing issues, and I'm still walking right into his attacks. I'm attacking where he IS, now where he'll BE. The problem is, he's significantly better at it than I am, so he'll space his dairs so that they hit me when i'm in some weird hit cooldown. Also if I shield it, my shield is hit harder so me and Nana get sent in opposite directions. I can't WD out because I react too late and spot dodging is...difficult.

Also I've started to choke with my CGs. This is bad. (also I apparently can't dthrow CG ganon anymore. wtf.)

Wait... You got that from one of my matches?

I don't remember doing that lol! It sounds really hard. :/
I think it was in one of your games against True Darkness... I might be getting mixed up though...

You can't dthrow chain grab Ganon, you can't dthrow chain grab anyone except at really low percents. The only decent chain grabs are the Blizzobble, Jab Infinite and Wobble (all infinites) and the Hand-Off (inescapable, but not infinite). All the other chain grabs only work as a surprise, because they can be DI'd out of.

Going to a tourney today. I'll try to play as ICs but might fall back on Yoshi. Here goes nothing.

Fair > nair > CG is absolutely insane on Sheik players. Can't believe that's a working approach.

Dance to express, not impress!
IC players should mix in regular dashing with wavedashes for movement. Most people think of wavedashing as an infallible way of moving around but you guys have to remember that even if you do it perfectly, there are about 15 frames where you can't do ANYTHING, even shield. Regular dashes don't give the speed burst but you get the added benefit of being able to dash-cancel, shield, attack, or jump if you need to.

Can you dash backwards out of a wavedash?

For example, if I'm dashing right full speed, if I WD backwards can I immediately start running left? I'm only asking because our traction's so low I don't want to waste time changing direction.

Better keep it short with good stuff, then long with lot of stuff, lots of new makers of combovids makes that mistake.
