I want to say I'd go Ganon in doubles.. but I have so much testing I want to do with tons of characters in doubles.

Doubles is so great. It's a middle ground between Sakurai's bizarroworld and an actual competitive environment.

Verm, DLA, Breezy, and I are all laddering with Ganon pretty well I might say but tournament wise it's pretty much only Verm. DLA sometimes uses MK, Breezy I don't know, and I go to tournaments once a month <_<

Well then. Sent my computer in for repairs since the graphics card was overheating. But it's back now and I can post again.

I got The Conduit and my god it is amazing. One of the best Wii games I have played, I can't wait for the sequel. I've been playing it non-stop the past week. Multiplayer is amazing and lag-free yesssss.

Also I still use Ganon except the fact that I don't go to tournaments. :lick:

Nope, nope, it's still Ganon here for me. Vermanubis is the only other player maintaining Ganon in tournaments now?
By the looks of it, it seems that way. I think everybody's still repping Ganon, but a number of 'Dorfs have expressed their discontent with their results as Ganon, resulting in picking up different characters.

I've been placing steadily in tourneys recently though, with my most recently results being 13/33, 9/17 and 13/25. To me, these rankings are just as pleasing as 5th or above as a higher tier character.

I think we're counting on each other to keep the Ganon spirit alive, man. T_T Don't give it up. Truth be told, I've wondered what it'd be like if I used Snake or someone of the like. I'm confident I could place very well, but, as I've said many times before, Ganon is the facet that is keeping my love of the game alive.

Off-topic: Haven't been able to join the postin' due to... Stuff...

On-topic: Well.. Besides the fact that there's not a whole lot of tournaments, in Denmark, I still use the old G-Dorf for friendlies.

Well, i'm relatively new to the tournament scene but i've used ganon in my last 2 tournaments and finished 5th out of 13 and 5th out of 17 respectively. I find that alot of people underestimate ganondorf.

I don't see myself using any other character. I have used other higher tiered characters in tournaments and placed around the same. I think it's because 99% of my time playing smash is drinking beers and playing ffa 4-way dorf-offs haha. Can't get any more supreme then that. No stage can handle 4 aggressive ganondorfs. Way too much destruction.

It's been a while since I've been to a tournament, and having a job is not going to make things easier, but I too go Ganon and only Ganon.

^^SeaDORF, do you post your tournament results in the tournament rankings thread? Ganon can use all the points he can get.

Nah, i haven't. My results have only been applied to the australian forums. I've managed to boost ganon a few points and he's currently 4th last on our character rankings.

As far as I know though, me and rangaDORF are the only people in Australia that use ganondorf in tournaments. Others play ganon and claim to main him but they will use higher tiered characters in tournaments.

**** tiers!!!

But you haven't hit money.

You've just beaten the people outside of 9th rank. In other words, all you've proven is that you're better than other people who are nowhere near money, and when it's 9th, it's "they've never been near the money."

Those other 9 people are where competition in your area starts, obviously, and for how much you might rise through the mediocre players there, the top 3 will never be beaten by you. If they are, why is my local area so strong. There's good players here. (And Ally and his bro won't stop taking our pots, lol).

Lol, Clai, I don't see how a job wouldn't make it easier. It gives you money to enter tourneys.

I'm not really interested in money. I just enjoy the challenge. I love the fight more than the win. But for what it's worth, most of the ranked players in my region have to go MK or Falco to beat me. No one goes Snake against me in my region anymore lol.

So, aside from the MKs and Falcos and a few other characters, I'm capable of contending with the competition here. I just usually go against an MK or Falco and get shut out early bracket.

Financially yes it is easier to make tournaments, but having a packed schedule makes finding tournaments and having adequate practice to keep fresh for tournaments difficult. No johns, I guess, but my mind is occupied with a whole bunch of stuff and making Smash tournaments isn't really a top priority atm.

I plan on going solo Ganon at my next tourney (unless I am up against a couple friends who I know already I can beat with MK and can't beat with Ganon). Should be fun. ^_^

Playing WoW.
I was prettending to create and Orc Warlock as a tribute to Ganon but Orcs racial talents are just not fit to magic classes.

Well, I'm still alive. I'm looking forward to the summer Smash season and representing Ganon, along with a few others.

Shame there's WoW in IRL. It's all about the Gerudo hunnies.
in in real life?

Never played WoW. I think it's silly to have to constantly pay for a video game in order to play it. So I stick with things like Titan Quest. And Grim Dawn when it comes out. <3

Gerudo chicks are pretty hot.

Ganon is such a pimp to be king of a whole society of women and being the only man born in a hundred years. Who do you think they all go to when they're feeling horny?

Too good. I'd love to be that much of a pimp.

Thats nice to think that, but they don't really take the time to rep em at all, except when they're facing somebody bad so they go Ganon for fun. So even if they are the best, it barely matters, because they barely rep em, and you and Ray do.

Inui, Vex and Atomsk apply a universal talent to Ganon, but as demonstrated in their videos, such as ones Vex has posted here, they demonstrate a poor understanding of the character.

It takes a special kind to be the best as the 'Dorf! >:3
