Forgive me, I haven't played SSBB as Ganondorf lately, but was his forward tilt just the jab kick? If it was, then yeah, that was a great move for him. His forward air has always been the same, though, the dark punch. If what you are saying is any indicator, you essentially want Project M Ganondorf right?

No, i want a Ganondorf isnpired by TLoZ games (specially OoT) i hate how they ignored that and only made him a C. Falcon clone.
I listed those two moves because they're quite fitting for Ganondorf, i mean he does the f-tilt (front kick) in Twilight Princess, and the f-air is pretty badass, but i won't be mad if the two attacks go away in favor of a complete revamp.

I wish I had abused the f-tilt more now back in 2008. Granted, I used it plenty where it came in handy more times than I can remember, but still feel there were times I could've relied on it more.

Am i the only one who wants his Brawl's forward tilt, and forwar air to return?
Aside from that i'm praying for a revamp.
His down-air and forward-b can stay too. His jab and u-smash could be excused too, but at least make them less stiff in animation. Otherwise everything else could do with a revamp.

I have an idea for a moveset for ganondorf so feel free to tell me what you think

For his A moves he just uses the sword from TP and does attacks similar to the fights in WW and TP

B - Energy Volley, Ganondorf will put his hands out in front of him and charge up a ball of Purple Darkness similar to lucario and mewtwos and shoot it out and with a well timed A move this can be shot back at ganondorf and then he can hit it back creating a volley similar to what he does in many zelda games

Forward B - Flame Jab, like his side B in brawl he will dash forward grabbing whoever is in front of him by the neck, he will then raise his sword up to the sky covering it with dark purple magic and then stab the opponent knocking them to the ground

Down B - Quake Punch - Ganondorf will raise his fist up to the sky and it will begin to glow with Dark magic, he will then slam it into the ground causing shockwaves to come from his fist, this attack is incredibly slow by does quite a bit of damage and smashes opponents into the ground

Up B - Twilight Teleport - Ganodorf will dissapear into twilight like he does as beast ganon in the final boss of twilight princess and then reappear in whichever direction you imputed similar to farores wind

Cool moveset idea, Sonicguy726.

Yeah, I know, it's been a while, but I'm back, and check out my new Avatar, I think it fits my AgatioGanon character perfectly.

I have been thinking and I would like to see Ganondorf use his sword, I'm thinking we're going to see a TP Ganondorf redesign considering they did the same with Zelda.

How about replacing his down smash kicking thing with a sword spin like he does in Twilight Princess.

I kind of don't want the forward A smash replaced, it's Stun Muscle!

Considering the sword he used in TP isn't actually his, I'd be ok with never seeing it again.

...That said, it's on my desktop background so I see it more than pretty much anything else ever.

I got some ideas about his Energy Volley, taking some inspiration from @ Sonicguy726 Sonicguy726 :
Ganondorf should be able to charge his Energy Volley just like in OoT.
Also his jab attack should be changed to his back hand-cape swing from OoT, so this way he would send back the Energy Volley just like in OoT.

Which Ganondorf do you like?
All of them!
The first one shows off his power, the second one shows off his intellect, and the third shows off his regal nature. I think I liked his Windwaker appearance the most though, his dialogue and personality were definitely the most interesting in that one.

OoT Ganondorf as a base, but make the nose slightly less pointy, then add the WW hair and some of the TP armor.

I feel like I've said something like this before...

...I probably have. Oh well.

I like the Twilight Princess Ganondorf.

I don't like WW Ganondorf at all.

I totally agree about charging his Electro Ball move, I'm calling it Electro Ball because it does kind of look like Electro Ball.

I think that Ganondorf is probably gonna get a sword so here my movelist for sword mage ganon

Make grab range slightly shorter than marth's

Jab: thunder palm same as before 9%

Ftilt: same as before 12%

Dtilt: same as before it had a slightly disjointed hitbox at tip of foot also it should pop up opponent 10%

Utilt: using his sword he stabs forward then swings blade upward this is a two hit attack first hit pulls in opponent
second knocks them upward, first hit 4% second hit 10%

Dash attack: shoulder tackle then stabs forward, tremendous range, can be used earlier to punish far opponents but
is punishable, tackle 5% stab 11%

Fsmash: if you have seen ganondorf's fsmash when he has a beam sword or any other melee weapon beside a bat then
you should know that i believe that will be his fsmash 18% fully charged 30%

Dsmash: swings vertically then turns around and swing horizontal this move is really just a "get off me" type move
both hits have high knock back, first attack 11% second attack 12% fully charged 16% 21%

Usmash: kinda like ike's usmash but a different animation 14% 28%

Nair: i had envisioned his nair as faster version of link's fair but both hits connect but if someone something better im all ears
first hit 5% second hit 8%

Fair: same as before my personal favorite kill move
16%

Dair: same as before
22%

Bair: think of ike's fair except backwards has lightening effect of sword during attack
18%

Uair: stabs upwards with sword this move lingers for 2 second
13%

Neutral B: charges dark energy one hand than throws it forward this energy ball cannot be spammed ganon "only gets one" at a time if energy ball "that was fired by you" is on screen neutral b is replace with a backhand that reflects projectiles
15%

Side B: same as before but longer range like slight longer than half the length captain falcon down b
grab part 2% choke slam part 9% if used on opponent in the air it will pop up the opponent

Up B: same length as previous up b but instead of manly hugging the opponent ganon shoot a volley of 5 small energy balls
as he rises they have low stun 2% per hit

Down B: ganondorf jumps up then drives his fist into the ground creating a shockwave if you hold up during the jump part of the down b ganondorf will hover, he can hover for 5 second you can do any aerial while hovering but this will cancel hover
if you down b in air you will hover and if you hold down ganon will drives his fist into the ground creating a shockwave, hover takes away second jump, the shockwave cover the distance of three ganondorfs standing together
punch part 9% shockwave 14%

leave feedback please

I'd like to see Demise as a Final Smash because I believe Zelda may be getting a 5th character and I'm thinking it might be Ghirahim, and Ghirahim's final smash could be Demise.

Either way, I hope Ganondorf is revealed soon, I'm getting very eager to see him.

Am glad this is unlike some other sites I've seen where some fanboys act like Demise replacing Ganondorf is inevitable because muh relevancy.

Well considering Link and Zelda's design we'll probably be seeing Ganondorf instead of Demise. Either way doesn't really matter to me because they're practically one in the same to me; and they both look cool.

Ganondorf is a very important part of the LoZ series, so I don't see him getting the axe. If he is to return, give him his own moveset, but let him retain some of his unique moves from Brawl and Melee (Up-tilt, F-Tilt, F-Air, Side Special).

Ganondorf should probably do better this time around, provided he makes it in, because he was atrocious in Brawl. Somewhat weak attacks and extremely slow speed hindered his performances, for sure. He was good in Melee, and I feel like he fell victim to poor balancing (Meta Knight needs improvement in the balancing department too, while we are at it).
Does he make the cut? I say yes, but his relevance in TloZ is slowing diminishing, as his last appearance in the main Zelda series, as I recall, is Twilight Princess (I may be wrong; but he wasn't in Skyward Sword, LBW, or Spirit Tracks). I wouldn't be surprised if this was his last Smash appearance as a playable fighter. But then again, you can look at Olimar, who has been upstaged in his own series, and he is still in (this upsets me a little, as I would rather have Alph, Brittany, or Captain Charlie in). But, whatever.

Would anyone rather see Demise?
..or at the very least a mix.
He might take some design elements from Demise, otherwise, it is more of alternate costume material if you ask. I wouldn't rather see Demise, but I wouldn't directly oppose it either. It is seemingly apparent that it will not happen as we have precedent to refer to, so the point is moot.

This viewpoint is more common than I'd like it to be. Where does this come from? Demise said nothing to imply that. The only thing the two have in common is their hatred for the gods. They're completely different people.
I thought Ganon was an incarnation of Demise' hatred, so they're pretty much acting as one in the same.
Character wise, Ganon is obviously much more interesting, and they both look pretty cool so I'm not trying to insult Ganondorf or anything.

I don't think Ganondorf himself is supposed to the incarnation mentioned. His hatred was assured because of Demise, but without Demise, Ganondorf would likely still exist. Just as if Ganondorf didn't happen, someone else would fill his role. I'd say that quote was just meant to say that the world will continue to be plagued by people like him, rather than be taken 100% literally.

Excuse me if I sound defensive, I just like Ganondorf as a character so much that anything said about him feels a little personal. I'm not angry or anything.

Seeing Link's design being a mix of TP and SS and Zelda's TP design with the possibility that she could have a SS design as a costume makes me believe we'll see a redesign of the TP Ganondorf and there is a possibility of either Ghirahim or Demise as the 5th character since there will be a fifth Zelda charater since besides Mario, Zelda is the second biggest series in Nintendo.

Besides if anything to represent Demise, include his battle theme on the Zelda stages.

Idea for a tentative Ganondorf move set instead of a captain falcon build, make him a Ike/Falcon build or a Ike build. Here is why I say this:

Ike was a heavy character build unique to brawl, and weather or not Ganondorf has a huge buster sword or a regular sword he can be the build with shorter reach. I love the idea of an aether version of his up b, also a counter move would benefit him if sakurai chooses to make him a slow old fart again. The dash attack with purple flames and a sword slash would be amazing. This is just a thought had passing through I am also really high so sorry for lack of grammar and thinking. Also he doesn't have to have a sword for the build he could still punch and kick but in my mind I always want him to have a sword especially cause were probably getting tp version again.

It'd be really cool if Ganondorf has a sword in Smash 4, but I'm perfectly okay without it.

I like Ganondorf being an extremely dangerous edgeguarder, and a character with deceptively fast aerials for his weight, so I hope they keep his up-air and down-air. For ground moves, I want his forward tilt back, and his Melee jab back.

Aside from Flame Choke (which is a fantastic move), I want Sakurai to revamp all of his specials.
