Since the 1st day is dedicated to singles only, I'll toss in the duelist tournament after singles on Day 1.
Format....
$1 to enter
single elim (since who the hell knows how long this will take)
4 at a time
top 2 advance to next round.
should the final round be the top 4, or split it into 2 1v1 matches, into a final 1v1 match?

I think double elim 2/3 is perfectly fine. The games go by fast, a lot faster than normally brawl. And we'll definitely want it 1v1, free-for-all is just stupid for obvious reasons (people always doubleteam me).
I got your back on this one, i'll help run it. Just reserve time/space and i'll make it happen.

Sounds good to me, after all, like any TO, I want to relax after the finals are said and done.
I'll trust your judgement on this one, because it will save me the headache of trying to satisfy everyone.
If singles are running later than expected, I will probably let duelist run alongside singles but I want to keep people from trying to enter both. Duelist should be a diversion for everyone that has been knocked out of singles, and people in both will just hold things up.

So does this mean we're doing Duelists in place of Crews? 'Cuz as cool as Duelists is, that'd be booty.

We're having duelists at ozzfest so its only fair to do crews at a big event like FS6. plus whens the last time texas got together and did crews?

I don't even know the answer to that question, as I've never been in a crew battle. But every time me and the rest of the SA guys try to do a crew battle, something always keeps us from going through with them. Whether it be not enough representatives, bad memory, not enough time, etc. whatever cheddar, we haven't taken part in them.

Yeah, but Santi's *****ed out of Crew R.A.P.E.
I guess we could replace him with Cake and Tyson, especially cuz Tyson DOES wreck crews, and DMG will probably end up stolen by Dallas.

I've officially added the following:
Duelist to Day 1 (Ruleset pending, waiting on UTD Zac.... or Hylian?)
Brawl + Ruleset
Bowser Challenge for both Melee and Brawl+
And clear up some confusion, yes we are still doing crews. It will be a single elimination tournament, and if there isn't at least 6/7 crews, I'm canceling it but allowing for exhibition battles.

Ususally crews can either have 4 or 5 people.

i think its 4 or 5, like if a crew only has 4 players they divide the 20 stocks (not sure if tis 20 stocks in brawl) so each player gets 5 stocks, or if it has 5 players each player gets 4 stocks.

What does the captain have to do besides have the team named after him? Do the two captains decide the order in which the players play?
