Since when did Ganon have a bad recovery? jump....ganon kick....another jump...upB >_>
Umm easily predictable and difficult to vary. Even teching doesn't always guarantee a way back on the stage for Gannon.

Doesn't matter how far you can go if you can be gimped very easily.

Not to mention as a slow character, he can't run across the stage to help his team mate if he or she gets into trouble.

I gotta play you first. I'll stand out pretty well, because I'll be the only person with "HOST" written on his tshirt in big white letters.

I don't know if IC's/peach or IC's/gannon would work out too well. I don't use Gannon much in teams anyways because of his crappy recovery.
alright im sure my IC can take out
a lot of people in singles for sure

but i would never use them in doubles
to hard to desync and keep them in sync

i would prolly go fox or falco in teams

but i'll play u when we get there

Ok to the list of attendees you can add, "Lash Best Brawl Player in Mexico" Majoras and Davico.

Me and Mikey will be traveling up to this with them so this is confirmed. Lash has won almost every tourney he has played in brawl in mexico so he is pretty good from what I hear, plus he has a really good CF in melee. This sounds like an awesome time.... I finally get to see how my home country "Mexico" stands up against the best in Texas in Brawl.
so we speak english in the car cuz i never no what going on right??:laugh::laugh:
i wanna see how mexico does in MELEE.

I would think they'd be limited like Dedede's standing infinite, but I don't know.
Then again, they are harder to set up than D3s...

North Texas wanna challenge the South? Yall are basically another state to us lol

edit: @defsithe Well these youngbloods don't know about the warriors of old

No need to worry about that until the day of the tournament. Just show up before the tournament begins and you can sign up then right at the store it's being held at.

Cash is preferred, but plastic is acceptable however there is a 75 cent charge (cheaper than going to an atm)

Huh? D3's infinites are not limited. IC's grabs are not banned as well.

This is assuming the rules on the front page are correct.

My apologies, I meant that in regards to the Atlantic North region.

But yeah, assuming the rules in the first post are final [smash], then the IC grabs aren't fixated in any way.

I don't understand the logic behind disallowing the ban of neutral stages. Can someone explain please?
I also have a problem with this. Diddy Kong on Final Destination is ridiculous for heavy characters and those with a weak aerial game. No platforms amplify his banana game immensely, making it very, very hard to avoid his projectiles. Wario wrecks house on Battlefield as the stage is fairly small, and the three platforms together in a congested manner make him able to hit and run more effectively than he can on most stages. Also, the way the stage is set up deters grab releases which some characters need to put on the damage/get the kill. Lylat Cruise is one of Snake's best counter picks, as the platforms on the level work perfectly in sync with his up smash. Have you even been down thrown by Snake on one of the platforms? When he drops down, he has all your options covered. Your going to eat an up tilt. Not only that, but due to the changing background, it makes it really hard to see where Snake's set ups are located. Pokemon Stadium allows characters with locks and chain grabs in some instances free infinites, such as Marth's down tilt lock to death, or D3's chain grab on any characters against a wall. Don't even get me started on Castle Siege, it's a walk off for gods sake, against some characters, it tips the match up insanely in the opposing characters favor if they have some kind of chain grab. Hell, even a laser lock or Peach's back air trap during a transformation is a pseudo - spike. Please rethink the serious repercussions associated with the disallowing of bans on neutrals, thanks.

You can now strike neutrals in Brawl

Sorry, I carried this rule over from from Melee, which has random resets to make up for the rule's limitations.

You have a very strong argument Foursaken, thank for bringing this to my attention.

This rule is now abolished from the Brawl rule set.

King it is your call on the IC CG's. I don't think anyone but Melee1, Hylian, and I would use them though.

Why was this even brought up? lol. I didn't see anyone even wanting them to be banned. Not like you can ban IC's cgs anyways without just telling them not to grab lol. Not to mention a huge majority of smashboards believes them to be suitable for tournament play. Including most people who want D3's banned lol.

I "might" need a teammate for melee( I'm pretty sure I'm teaming with Le Thien for brawl). The person I was going to team with from OK is going to team with his friend so yeah...I might need one >_>.

If I'm there and my normal partner doesn't show up (decent chance) I might be free.
Either way we should play first.

What about the one where you just get thrown back and forth?
I just want to know if they are allowed or not

OK we can get a few games in.:)

If anything, I might just ask around when I get to the tourny. I don't want you to dump your teammate (if he shows up) because of me >_>.

We'll see...

Lol I wouldn't don't worry. If he's there we will team and **** =)
Yeah even if you just ask around at the tourney you should be fine. Quite a lot of good people are going and most of them don't have teammates set out yet. So as long as you ask them before someone else you should be fine.
Playing some matches will be fun though regardless =)
