Looks like Bushido still doesn't understand when it comes to know how much is the venue fee. (They keep answering "Venue fee is paid by visitors"...)

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=122270181143352

Singles
-20€ if you pay in advance
-22€ if you pre-register and pay on the day of the tournament
-24€ if you didn't pre-register

Low tier
-10€
-12€
-14€

Teams-
-10€ per person
-11€ per person
-12€ per person

Cashprize :

Low tier 256/128 participants:

1er/600 euros - 1er/300 euros
2ème/250 euros - 2ème/125 euros
3ème/150 euros - 3ème/75 euros
4ème/50 euros - 4ème/25 euros

Doubles 128 team:

1er/600 euros - 1er/300 euros
2ème/250 euros - 2ème/125 euros
3éme/150 euros - 3ème/75 euros

Singles 256/128 players:

1er/1100 euros - 1er/550 euros
2ème/500 euros - 2ème/250 euros
3ème/300 euros - 3ème/150 euros
4ème/100 euros - 4ème/50 euros
If they do as they always used to, if you aren't French, you don't need to pay in advance to pay the cheaper price.

Shall we ask again for top8 to be paid in singles ? Because it looks like either Leon didn't manage to contact Bushido, or his staff posted that without being updated.

Also, lol'd @ the picture, saying Ally is confirmed already, and also showing the wrong date.

This is the most illogical cash repartition I've ever seen

I really have to get in touch with Bushido.. I'll talk to him at the tourney next week

these numbers are disturbing, acho

128x20 = 2560
Pot = 550+250+150+50 = 1000

All events have about 40% pot, 60% profit marge

yeah...

Yes, I know they are. Myself, Kaos and Zulu keep telling Leon to tell Bushido to display the actual venue/entry fee, because he doesn't understand what it is and keeps replaying "you don't have to pay any entry fee if you attend one of the events, it's only for visitors", while he still keeps some of the money from the events to pay the venue.

He also pays security guys, but well...

Leon told us he'll contact Bushido ASAP and see what he can do about it.

I am so happy that this will be held in the old Bushido venue =D.

Kebab every 2 hours xD.

At a normal Bushido tourney he only takes like 200 right?

How can he take like 1,5 k at this tourney, even with the same venue.

"profit margin" isn't the right term for this as it doesn't take into account the venue costs and the various other expenses.
This percentage is nevertheless very high but Bushido Impact events have often been like that. I haven't paid attention to it for some time, but the percentage of money used for cash prizes was between 45 and 55%, about 1 year ago.

Regarding the inclusion of the entry fee within each event's price, they always did that. I tried to explain that wasn't the best thing to do, but without much success, so I kinda gave up. Changing this would be a great improvement, though.

I just got Bushido on the phone.
Singles top8 will likely receive a cashprize, and that cashprize might increase [a lot], as he's working on some proposition Kaos made.

Stay tuned.
For those that begged us about details on our prices :

The singles entry fee is 20€. In that fee, 12€ will be used as venue fee and 8€ will go to the cashprize.
About teams, there will be 5€ for the venue and 5€ for the cashprize.
The difference between singles and teams is that we were thinking at this time that the price of the venue would be paid off by the singles.

We would like you to note that the tournament takes place on Paris, and if we don't reach 256 players, we'll have to deal with huge money problems to pay the venue. So keeping 12€ as venue fee is some kind of "security measure" for us.

The cashprize has been edited and top8 will be paid in singles :

Tournoi Low tier 256/128 participants:

1er/700 euros - 1er/350 euros
2ème/300 euros - 2ème/150 euros
3éme/150 euros - 3ème/75 euros
4ème/100 euros - 4ème/50 euros

Tournoi Double 128 team:

1er/700 euros - 1er/350 euros
2ème/300 euros - 2ème/150 euros
3éme/150 euros - 3ème/75 euros
4ème/100 euros - 4ème/50 euros

Tournoi Simple 256/128 participants:

1er/900 euros - 1er/450 euros
2ème/400 euros - 2ème/200 euros
3ème/300 euros - 3ème/150 euros
4ème/150 euros - 4ème/75 euros
5ème/100 euros - 5ème/50 euros
6ème/80 euros - 6ème/40 euros
7ème/50 euros - 7ème/25 euros
8ème/40 euros - 8ème/20 euros
Also now Bushido Impact staff is asking if the 5th and 7th tied players prefer to win the same cashprize or if they want to play against each others to have a 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th rank.
