Wait Miharu, can you elaborate about S2 making last hitting easier. I guess I haven't played Dota in a while to compare realistically.

skewed lasthitting advatage way towards melee heroes since they smoothed out/streamlined all the animations, and made quelling blade apply to denies as well

like think about this lane

AM vs SF mid

sf ***** the **** out of that pos am

but in HoN magebane beats soulstealer 70/30 or something...

dumb game etc

i've freakin asked you 20+ times to play a casual game of god dam dota with me

you've denied me every freakin time

i'm pretty dam sure that's 1 of the reasons why i play a much ****tier game called Laugh Out Loud

suncrusher is chill though and he actually played with me

you can't insult me for playing league since you're not even gonna help me get better in dota. i mean i know you're freakin good but come on! you act like you're afk every time i message you and you play freakin thr1. thats lower than my standards

Murloc ***** pubs, AA meh. For reference, how many denies per game do you folks average? On either Dota or Hon.

Slark is super fun to play in pubs imo. You can run around the map at crazy speeds. Last couple of times I've played him I'm usually around 17-0. All they have to do is dust though...

**** HON!! I've never met so many clueless ******* before. I played three games today and everyone had someone who went along the lines of 0-15+, never said a single word in chat and simply amassed pools of drool on their keyboards. Had a succubus planting wards right next to mid towers and **** like that.

so i've recently started to play in clan DCL

i can't help but to notice the intense lag whenever someone hosts with dota client or list checker

in league of legends theres like 0 lag... but because of that, people can lag to their own advantage i.e. walk through walls and avoid dying when it gets choppy

all u have to do is keep track of your mana so u don't run out of mana and die to dumb ****

otherwise in most game rushing a linkens after treads/wand/bottle will suffice; if they're especially disable heavy, get in a bkb

storm's pretty hard to die with

Hon's pretty cool. You can reconnect to games, get a lot less leavers, and it looks better. Also it keeps track of all stats, and you can easily watch a replay of any player in the game.

It still has a few things they need to clean up, but I think it's worth the one time 30 dollar fee.

I think HoN is well worth the 30 dollar price. Only problem is that it's a little baby and the competitive scene consists of heavy turtling.

Actually they're becoming a lot more aggressive lately! =D

Plus there isn't that many heroes. Those ****ers don't port the Dota heroes they need. Adding ****ty hybrid heroes. :/
But like I said, it's a baby so give it some time.

hm let's see

gproxy in its initial form allows people with shaky connections to reconnect after dropping, and gameplay may be paused until said person reconnects. this is fine, since it solves the problem of people dropping during scrims/matches. doesn't let straight up leavers rejoin (nor does it work on normal hosts afaik), but every single important match these days is played on a hostbot

hon does indeed have a significantly lower ratio of leavers when compared to pub dota, but in league play it really shouldn't matter in either gay

in my opinion hon's visual effects are so overdone to the point where teamfights are flat out messy; the crisp, simple effects of dota make it that much easier for spectators and the players themselves to follow along. not to mention that the hero models are small as ****, look pretty ****ed ugly for the most part, and they disrespected the shadowfiend model

replay viewing is indeed convenient...

there's so much more they need to clean up before it can even compare to dota gameplaywise; what's sad is that bunches of idiots are already touting it at the game that will supposed replace dota when the people behind the balancing have no clue on how to balance skills, let alone heroes or the complex interactions between various heroes that comprise the metagame

in short, hon is probably better for your above-average public player who is looking to play lag-free leaverless games, but if you jump a few notches in skill level, all of that pretty much becomes irrelevant for players of higher skill

sad thing is most midskill dota teams could go over to hon and be considered to be highskilled

don't even need to bring the asians into this

HoN is a pretty good fit for me. I am enjoying it except for the hero selection. I want to play Kunkka ****it. I figure it a new opportunity for me to start playing the game a little more seriously and have a chance at competitive play whereas I feel I am to far behind in DOTA at this point.

I also totally agree with the over the top spell animations. Sometimes in a 5v5 group fight with all ults going off, I can't tell wtf is happening.

Well hopefully I am better by then. Only thing holding me back currently is myself being to lazy too look for dedicated people to play with. I think I am already better than the average pub player.

if you want to play pubs aka what crowing is doing, then you're better off playing HoN or League of Legends

If you're big pro like me, you get on wc3 and whoop some *** in league

(I joke around when i say whooping ***, because usually i'm the ward ***** and support)

of course since we live in cali, and USEast lag is unbearable, and i'm going to have to find something to take its place.
