I've always thought that Yoshi was a crappy character, because of the whole "no recovery" thing. It wasn't until I played against SheerMadness that I discovered the true horror of the DJC and the kind of pain a great Yoshi player can put a noob like me through. Great match by both players.

Personally, the reactions and shattering of pride is great enough. There's nothing quite like the face of a guy who's sure he's a god at Smash and is undefeated amongst his clique, only to be smashed 3-4 stocks in a row by a Fox/Falco/what-have-you that he can't even touch.

If you're playing in front of a crowd of casual players, there's no bigger crowd pleaser than Jigglypuff. Especially in an FFA, where everyone's expecting the Puff to be the first one out, only to have him be the last one remaining with 3 or so stocks left.

Bruising egos is fun enough for me. Hustling through smash, though pretty clever and smart I'll admit, just seems kind of... wrong. You're taking advantages of foolish man pride, adding a financial insult to egotistical injury. I merely destroy the ego.
