You've made it this far, have you not? Ganondorf sucks, despite however good anyone plays him. To be honest, what I've noticed is that Zeon's success comes from reading people not just how well he can play a character. If you think about Ganondorf, doesn't he seem like the ultimate punish-stick for those who can be read? I think so. If you're using anyone with a decent projectile or range, you'll be fine.

Correct me if im wrong, but if you pick one character to use in a match, you cant select your other character in that one match can you? Like, shadow used Peach and lost the first match and then on the second match he picked Donkey Kong.
You have to use your selected character and your opponents selected character, you cannot use more then 2 different characters in a set.

Zeon, you pick Ganon or Bowser for that match, not both. You can't switch them

That's right, assuming I understand what're you're saying is what I think it means. In each set, there should only be two different characters played; one of yours and one of your opponents.
Let's say I pick Mario and Sonic for my characters to use in the tourney, and my opponent picks Luigi and Olimar. If I pick Mario for our matches, and he picks Olimar, we can only play Olimar or Mario for that set; Luigi and Sonic are not options.
The only time where you won't have two different characters in a set is if you both pick the same character.
