and melee people (myself included) just get anoyed when brawl people bash on us just cause we liked melee, and wished brawl was more like it... i mean theres nothing wrong with brawl i just like melee better.

A small story about last night (friday's tournament)

So Destructoid.com had a event at FIU (Florida International University) in conjunction with one of the clubs at the school. they had plenty of games such has Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Rock Band, Left 4 Dead, Soul Calibur 4 and Brawl. So they had a Brawl tournament with lame rules. Single match (no best 2 out of 3) and single elimination. There was no tourney fee but the payout was .

1. $100
2. $75
3. $25

There were about 40+ people that showed up. But the big problem was that there was only 1 TV to play on.... but in the 2nd set of rounds and on... the rules have changed, it was now 2 stock and 2 minutes! Also, the organizer randomly switch people's places without just skipping them and go start the next match, and he was adding people to the bracket despite the tournament was ongoing (for an hour). In the end... the winners were

1. Danny (c. doc)
2. Chaz
3. 8-Bit (Me)

with each splitting that $200 and each get $66 (aprox.)
