As of now were thinking of a room at the University of Regina
This also means that the whole tourny will be sponsored by URSU

Ideas
I have been throwing around a bunch of ideas about this and there is a few that I will make happen forsure

  • Door Prizes (anything from Posters - New Controllers)
  • Free food (Pizza, Pop, Chips...)
  • Renting out a Gym at the university so we can play DODGEBALL?! haha

  • Maybe renting out the OWL nightclub (no alcohol would be served cause there are people under the age of 19...but they have an awsome venue with pool tables)
  • Getting a projector and have a projected image of the brackets on the wall at all time
  • A main TV for finals

I need some feedback about people who are interested in comming to make this happen...:)
I know you all want to come....

Like I said I want this to be BIG! so to make this happen please post if your interested:)

None of this is confirmed yet all just ideas

I especially like the last few ideas. POOL MM's all around as long as it's a decent pool table.

I have a love hate relationship with bacarat (I dunno how to spell it either)....Last time I was at the casino I was wtahcing from afar and guessing what i would bet and I got every one right and so I ended up sitting down and playing and IT ATE MY MONEY!!!! I lost like every hand but one:( haha and so I went and played blackjack and won some of my money back and I went back to play bacarat and LOST IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!

That's a sad story. I once threw down $100 on a hold'em tournament and lost on the first hand. Then I learned that other people have MORE money than me and risking $100 in one hand of poker is feesible for them O__o
