I'm glad they're going back to a more orthodox style of controls. I don't mind motion-style, and I actually think it works great for certain styles of gaming (like point-and-click adventures, or FPS) but imo it's annoying to use for more typical genres, like platforms.

Controllers don't look like they can handle Melee speed gameplay... Probably a ***** to replace too...

what I don't like about them is that you know you're probably gonna accidently whack the edge of the touch screen if you're hitting the Y-button in a hurry.

I think the concept console looks pretty sexy though. I like it being black too.

Also yeah, people are gonna have to learn to stop throwing/dropping these things lol.

I'm really hoping that this system doesn't have as many gimmicks as the Wii had. I would like to get some decent 3rd party support as well. 1080p would sound real exciting though.

Im glad they are going back to normal controls, and maybe if we are lucky you won't need a wiimote JUST to start games. The wii has good ideas but honestly is just a ****ty system in general, no 1080p (rofl thats a joke right there), clunky controls at best and games that force you to use the wiimote. I mean lets be serious. I bought Twilight Princess for the gamecube instead of the wii for the sole purpose of me not wanting to play using a ****ing wiimote. The only game i enjoyed playing with the wiimote was SMGalaxy. On top of that, the selection of games available on the Wii is just terrible, and when a good one does come out you have to use the wii mote lol. I'm just not a fan of pointing **** at the screen, i want to hold a controller. I'm also not a fan of hitting the "On" button not being enough to start a game up. Not sure what wasn't efficient about the old "hit the on switch begin playing" system. I use to own a wii, i want to get another but for what? 4 or 5 games? Just not worth it, the only reason i continue to consider getting one is because i could get it hacked and have like 50 free games lol.

I don't know man, Nintendo has really dropped the ball so many times for me. Tired of remakes for new consoles, i want to see new games, i dont want to play the same game for the 20th time. The wii in general was kinda disappointing. I feel the same way about Squaresoft, i just don't enjoy their games anymore. FFXII-II definitely going to be the last chance i give that company. Not that its gonna kill them but im definitely not spending my money on them.

Lately i've been big on Bethesda for Morrowind/Oblivion/Fallout. Bioware for Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 (haven't played Mass Effect...i may go and buy them). Games by Mistwalker (company founded by Hironobu Sakaguchi, who was involved with the first 9 FF's and some other really great games like Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG and Kingdom Hearts) have really kept my interest lately. They have a game coming to the wii called Last Story which right now may be the biggest reason for me purchasing a Wii lol.

IN CONCLUSION:
Not all that excited about a new Nintendo System
