I am back from anime club but there is nothing to really respond to. However I did think of a question,

Dad, Can you explain your reads a bit more w.r.t. Acro/Panta/Sang since you already explained your Panta read?

Honestly, I have zero idea what Soup was going on about as he hasn't discussed anything with me about this game.

I still have to read, however I'm doing what I can to get reads out of who is with me in the thread right now.

J is town because his responses to my blatant personal attacks aren't overboard. He got moderately defensive and told me to step off when I told him his playstyle was bad, which is understandable. He didn't go off into one of his scumJ hissy fit fake rages like I know he would have had he been scum. Furthermore he completely diffused my comment saying he ****ed things up with zero aggression attached.

A calm J is a town J.

He pretty much asked me what I thought of his reads and I told him he was wrong about LST and RR is scum. He then conceded to a wishy-washy maybe at which point I told him the exact same thing again. He learns with repetition you see.

And then I went back to ignoring this game so I couldn't tell you what happened. By the looks of it he took my reads and unvoted LST. I don't see why that implies a long debate.

I have a hard time seeing this. She seemed a lot less sure on her read on you than I thought would be apparent. After the discussions we had in KSSU about how she is able to read you so fluently due to posting aura (lol aura), a read up to page 13 only yielded her the response "J is somewhat hard to read because he posts a lot as both town or scum."

Something just feels off about it honestly. It certainly didn't give me a leaning town view.

Vote on AM is interesting. But I didn't see anything really bad about her response w.r.t. me at all if we are playing the meta game because I feel she is a bit less certain of us(both) since we have both grown as players in her ability to read us, hence the hesitancy. Remember she had you as super-duper obvtown in KSSU and got burned?

I feel she is only hitting the tip of the iceberg with AM atm. I don't mind seeing AM get voted because I don't care for them but I have stronger reads atm.

As I mentioned before, I had gotten to page 13 with my initial read, but lost my notes. I don't have the energy right now to attempt to do a full catch up.

I remember Hilt standing out to me in that some of his posts read like "advice". I am leery of these type of posts because they can make scum look useful when really all they are doing is telling town how to play the game. Below are two posts that show what I'm talking about.

Setting up relationships should be handled similarly to calling someone out as scum, defending a player as town, or placing a vote on someone. If you give a solid, blunt statement, attach a reason for making your statement. Whether or not it could change in the future, or you perhaps decide you were wrong in thinking what you thought in the past, making a statement as blunt and direct as you did and attempting to dodge having to give a reason like you did in posts #92/94 is shady.

Or are you saying that others should figure it out for themselves? Perhaps. In some situations, you would be correct. But at the end of the day, this is a game for town to, as a whole, find scum. In the situation I was referring to, Acrostic gave off the impression that he didn't want to give the information that he may or may not have had that could help differentiate town and scum. This is not something that one should do. If he was unsure of it, to the point of where he felt the opinion could change, he should have kept it in his head, or taken notes for himself. But making a post regarding one's alignment should, in most situations, be backed up with reasoning to avoid yourself, a member of town or one trying to pass off as one, from receiving unnecessary suspicion. Unless, again, you want this suspicion for some reason. I can't think of many where someone has made a statement and another player didn't ask said person for a reason. And in almost every situation, the person has either given their reasoning (allowing others to get more of a read on this player, based on how their reasoning was given), or they avoided giving their reasoning, and thought of as scummy.

And there I go rambling again.

Tom was on my radar a bit, but he's always been pretty quiet player and I have never played a game he did not quit. I want to see more from Traveling cat before I make a final call, but as of now I am leaning town with that slot because of his mistake about Omni being in the game.

Dad's hiphopping wagon flopping is odd. Combined with the hydra squabble and the slot doesn't really seem occupied with scumhunting.

Traveling Cat's 2 questions also seem like a way to fake activity or scumhunting. Personally, I think J is town.

Also, Kuz, does being in a hydra make you not follow your original meta? I haven't seen you asking endgame map questions like in the Newbie game.

Acrostic's confusion and backpedalling looks sincere and legitimate. Right now I am feeling Jtown and Acrotown.

Panta, you make a lot of pokes and hints at accusations, but don't actually call anyone out on anything. You didn't give anything but a positive read on people or say they (or what they did) was "odd" or "confusing". Do you not suspect anyone? Or are you too cautious to call anyone out on anything?

Planning to do a reread on Panta. I'm curious to see if this is a habit of his in this game.
