It probably was.

Completely unrelated, but I just found out that my Qanba stick will work on backwards compatible PS3 to play PS2 games. BRB, picking up GG again.

How is the Qanba stick working out for you, Lyth? My TE is starting to wear down so I think I might get one within the next year or so.

I really like it. It is now my go-to stick.

It's pretty comfy. The buttons and stick are all Sanwa and shizz. I found that you do have to move the stick a bit farther than on the TE when I first started using it, but I don't even notice the difference anymore. Also, the bottom is felted, so it doesn't slide around if you set it on your lap.

Also, having it work on PS3, 360, and PC is pretty amazing.

Don't backwards compatible PS3s lag when playing PS2 game?

I think I heard that before.

I checked on the site and it was $149 for both. Plus, isn't the Canadian dollar stronger than the US dollar right now? So wouldn't it be more expensive in America?

Hmm, I dunno. I'm used to paying more for everything anyway.

Also, if the Canadian dollar above par, I'll know because every customer at work will give me grief about prices. So, if today was any indication, yes, the Canadian dollar is currently worth more.

I've not gotten into other fighters until recently, but I wondering if other fighters stale quickly or not in terms of innovation and development of a 'metagame'.

As far as I can tell, Brawl seems to have stagnated rather quickly, melee is became ever more quickly played rather than innovations, and smash64 I do not think has changed much either for quite awhile now.

P4 main character for me, for now anyways. :/

This is very confusing though, I never would have expected this.

But it is not unwanted.

I just need a Guilty Gear announcement and this would be perfect.

The current build has 12 characters apparently. Images of the character select screen only shows ten.

We have a burst.
Meter is divided into four sections, colored blue and probably a max of 100. However I've noticed in some images meter is red and divided into six sections with a max of 150?

A little blue bar under the health bar also divided into four sections.

Just some observations because I am hyped.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Elizabeth and P3 Main Character, because
Elizabeth was trying to save him during P4
. That might have something to do with the story, but it's just speculation. :/

Edit: Famitsu article, some better images.

The graphics look kinda King of Fighters-ish to me which is cool. Now I just hope the gameplay is at least BB fast.

She looks like she is giving advice during gameplay for other characters, I don't think Rise is very likely to happen for now.

So, apparently, it's going to be both P3 and P4 characters. It'll be a mix. Characters confirmed so far are: P4 main, Aigis, Chie, Kanji, Yosuke, and maybe Yukiko/Fuuka?

I need Yukari to be in this. So I can punch her in the face.

Yeah, I don't pay much attention to any site besides SRK or Dustloop for fighting game theory, unless the article is generally about competitive gaming.

Agreed. That guy even admits that he doesn't play Third Strike competitively. So, he's obviously not going to care about tournament results and the like.

I understand that he genuinely thinks he's trying to ease some tension and educate, but then you don't use someone who doesn't know what they're talking about and just preaches to the choir instead when trying to clear misconceptions, that article is full of them itself.

Just listen to Juicebox Abel's podcast on it ffs, it's like over a year old.

I agree completely. Reminds me of that article where this guy was basically saying that fighting games haven't evolved ever, and everyone who plays them just mashes buttons. :I
