I'm sick of Final Destination from Melee, so my favorite stage is probably Castle Siege or Pictochat. Castle Siege is just cool looking and I like how it changes to different platforms. Pictochat is like Final Destination, but with action.

The Final Destination Song is awesome though!

Spear Pillar is a great level when it's not attacking you. The distortions are fun.

SV is probably the favorite though. Castle Siege is pretty sweet, but the walk-off segments are annoying.

For playing seriously my favorites are all neutral stages, of course.
For playing for fun my favorites are New Pork City (like Hyrule, you can't die) and Spear Pillar (no explanation needed).

My favs:
-Island Delfino
-Smashville
-Battlefield
-Yoshi's Island

I don't really fancy the new FD, the background scenery to me is boring. I liked how in Melee, its dark in the beginning, then when you hit the mountainous region everything lights up, makes the battle all the more epic.

i'd have to say may favorites are:

1. castle siege - great music, the statues help against projectiles, and i am biased towards fire emblem ;)
2. pictochat - flat and simple but has some things going on every once in a while.
3. 75m - it pisses people off and is a good place to fool around.

You'll never find out! 'Cause by the time you do M
I guess my favorite levels are Battlefield, Final Destination, and the stage that I made. The level I made is kinda lame though, but it is really fun. If you want to make it here is what it is like. First you choose the largest size of stage or the medium one. You can pick your own background and music. It almost quite literally consists of vertical and horizontally moving platforms, and at the bottom and the top is 4 solid blocks for the players to stand on. Make sure the 4 blocks are almost equally seperated on the top and the bottom of the stage. Then just get creative with the moving platforms. Have fun!

My favorite used to be New Pork City, but the size finally put me off of it. It's a crying shame--the music kicks ***. ;_;

I'm partial to Halberd and Pictochat.

EDIT: A certain three-letter word for one's derrière is censored?

My favorites are:

New Pork City
Shadow Moses Island
Luigi's Mansion
75 m
WarioWare, Inc.

I basically like anything big or midsized (which is why I don't get why I like WarioWare. That place is SMALL!)

I hate any stage the moves, so I would never go to:

Mushroomy Kingdom
Summit
Rumble Falls

In no particular order:
-Smashville. Cool graphics, great for training, I'm a fan of Animal Crossing; and, come on, K.K. Slider plays there on Saturday nights! How many other stages have that?
-Distant Planet. Probably one of the nicest-looking stages in the game, IMHO. And knocking your opponent into the mouth of a giant alien bug may be among the most satisfying KOs ever.
-Spear Pillar. Full stop.
-WarioWare. It's probably among the least neutral stages in the game...but that's the whole point. As I'm not really into the tourney scene, I have no qualms about enjoying this stage.
-Pictochat. See WarioWare.
-Final Destination. The backgrounds, the music, EVERYTHING about this stage is pure epicness.
