Well Dark Link was a mid-boss, so technically he does count. I didn't think of him, so Dark Link would go in my OoT favs as well. He was probably the funnest boss in the whole game, because I love a good sword fight, I really hope Skyword Sword has a Dark Link Battle.

You should check out the Dark Link fight in Zelda 2. Talk about hardcore swordfighting.

Zelda 2 is the one Zelda game I could never get anywhere in...
It was just too complicated.

My fave bosses would have to be Zant, Dark Link (OOT), MM, G-Dorf (OOT) and Vaati (minish cap/Four swords). Oh and Molgera and Volvagia.

Well, although you get sent back to the beginning palace when you get a game over, as you progress you get items and spells to create shortcuts around the world. It's still a pain but it gets less annoying as you go on.

There are some parts that are basically impossible to figure out without a guide though.

Bongo Bongo in OoT:
Entrance - you dropped down onto him playing his bongo which is cooler than walking through a door
Atmosphere - dark and gloomy and fit in with the theme of the Shadow Temple
Music - incorporates part of the boss (the bongos) into the audio
Combat - used a variety of weapons, ie. lens of truth, arrows and sword as opposed to just dodging something then swinging your sword.

OoT: Never played it, Volvagia looks cool.

Majora's Mask: Meh, none really. Love Majora's Wrath for the music.

Minish Cap: Vaati. He looks awesome in his Hylian form and he made a great villain for the game. I even made a Kirby of this guy. I HAVE played this, but it was an emulator, and I couldn't get out of the town. XD

Wind Waker: Probably Molgera. Love him because of the music.

TP: Never seen or heard of any of them except Ganondorf.

Phantom Ganon, Bongo Bongo, and Twinrova are all very fun.

Love the difficulty of Phantom Ganon, seeing as he is the hardest boss in OoT imo, which is kind of ironic him being harder than regular Ganondorf.

I just really like Bongo Bongo and the Shadow Temple. I think he's a cool looking boss, as well as the atmosphere in the Shadow Temple fits him.

I like how Twinrova has somewhat of a build-up before fighting them. Most bosses you just walk in and bam, there they are.

Bongo Bongo was actually pretty freaking awesome. He killed me in less than a minute in my first runthrough. After that, I got 3 fairies and I was set.

Argarok(TP), Gohma(WW), Goht(MM), Stallord(TP).

Argarok gets number 1, being what has to be one of the top 3 most... and I mean this in actual usage here... epic battles I've ever seen or played in a zelda game.

Off of appearance, I would say Majora's Wrath.

Off of the concept, Bongo Bongo, Goht, and Stallord.

But Argarok just did it all for me. xD
