Falco or Lucario: Which should I main?

Ok, so I've had brawl since it came out, and my best characters are Lucario and Falco. I've mained Lucario for awhile and got a little good with his combo moves. With my Falco, it's a whole different story. I have mastered Falco's combos, mainly his chanin grabs. I'm thinking about maining Falco because of that reason and also because I was brawling Trela earlier tonight and I came really close to beating him with Falco. I tried with Lucario but it didn't work out as planned. The thing I like about Lucario is that he can get pretty dang harsh when he gets near the 90% range but before that he is somewhat of a suckish character. Falco on the other hand is great with speed. His chain grab works like a charm, and his side-B attack works great for meteor smashes if you know how to use it right. Ugh I'm so confused, which do you guys think I should main? Falco or Lucario? Which is better? Which is weaker?

This decision entirely depends upon how furry you are.

Do you think you're furry enough to main Lucario? If not, go for the bird.

lucario is good when your good at surviving with medium to high damage. compared to lucario falco's only problem would be his weight. so which ever you feel more comfortable using is the one you should go with

Like I said, Lucario is suckish until he gets into the higher damage rates. The only thing I have trouble with on Falco, is his lack of speed because of his weight. Everything else I am deffinatly ok with. Yeah, I'mma main Falco.

I think Falco's "aggressively campy" style is great fun, and I personally would never main anyone else. That's just me, though, you have to decide for yourself.

You're obviously not furry enough to handle Lucario.

Lower damage lucario = less knockback = more combos = not suckish.

I like Falco (obviously) but, like I say on all threads like this, the final descision is up to you.
If you're better with Falco, use him and keep Lucario as another main/seccondary.

Im not biased.I play them both ^_^. Listen up, here a quick pro con list of each:

Falco Pros:
Chaingrab
Great projectile
Good priority
Great edgeguard game
Has a reflector

Falco Cons:
More technical than Lucario
Bad recovery
Has a hard time landing/killing with smash attacks
Has a couple really bad matchups


Lucario Pros:
Easier to learn than Falco
Good range on moves thanks to aura
As your percentage increases, you get stronger. 200% it maxs out, and you are twice as strong than at 0%
If your a stock behind, your even stronger.
Great priority, especially fair and dair
Great projectile(aura sphere)
Doesnt have any horrifc matchups; Maybe one or two 30:70s at the most.

Lucario cons:
Only has a minor side b chaingrab on some characters, it only goes to like 20% on most.
OK edgeguarder
No meteor smashes(no spikes)
As you get ahead in stocks, you become weaker
Recovery isnt spectacular, but you can wall cling to make it better.
No reflector
Not the fastest guy on the block

Thats true about Falco. whats also true about Lucario is that he is the master in the air because of his Fair and Dair attacks and it could lead into many combo's and strings and perfect for edgeguarding.

Also very true. Luc's f-air combo is too much fun. And his d-air ruins worlds.

Mods can close this thread. I'm maining Lucario since I've gotten better with him before his critical damage takes place.
