Every one should give me high fives =D

I fixed ALL, i mean ALL the glitches in Clare. of course i had to get rid of all the animations. but HEY! i got her glitch free. she can be grabbed.

i have to redo all the animations. but hey, glitch free characters = more progress to come.

i did keep my quick sword as a back up. that ***** was hard to make. 30 sword swings, 30 frames. took me a bit to make it look appropriate in game.

Congrats on getting her to be glitch free. Now you can get stuff DONE.

Speaking of getting stuff done, I will be putting some work into Mew this weekend, so look forward to that.

Oh yeah, i came up with something for clare. i'm going to make her do quick sword. but if you do it for too long. you'll take damage. but! if you do this, after you stop tapping B she will do a normal swing, and give some beefy knockback so Clare can "stop" awakening her arm. (she'll hold it for 65 frames)

pretty much. i've decided to cut down on the Animations time. it's no longer 30 frames, it's twelve. seeing how it's going to be blurred out (by psa) it won't make much of a difference, neither will the sword will have a hit box, it's all there for effect. the hit box is anything in front of her. with in initial sword's reach.

Diddy Kong.

and i need a person who can vertex/texture. the model of Zelda, so that way it can look like clare. right now, she seems to be a Marth clone <_< most of her moves (that of which would fit) seem to fit marht way better.

but the only custom animations i've done are her Quick sword and Wind Cutter. but most animations are imported due to me being lazy. but i want an alpha done and ready for release.

Anyone know what UnknownT does?

Float7 looks like it could be the size of whatever it is.

Could the other 6 floats be the XYZ offset and rotations of this thing??

I made a change to one of them, but didn't notice a change.....

I think I love Modset 4.

It makes animating Mew's arms so much easier. Considering I don't have much to work with there.

Anyway, is there a way to speed up/slow down an animation through PSA? Or would I have to manually inject frames between key frames?

Guys, can someone please tell me how to port a character's animations over another without stretching or shrinking the model? I am working on anothe project on the side and need to use a few of Bowser's animations.

Open the character you are using in Brawl Box and preview it. In the preview window, load up Bowser's MotionEtc file. Select the animation(s) you want to use, and go to frame zero. Copy frame 0 (the T-stance) and go to the first frame. Click insert, then paste the T-stance on the first frame. Export the animation, then open up your character's MotionEtc and replace the animation you want it on. Now, here, you can go about it a couple ways. If the animation starts from the Wait animations, copy the first frame of the Wait animation and paste it onto the first frame of the new animation. If it starts from a different stance, like jumping, copy the third frame and paste it on the first. Delete the second frame.

This may not work perfectly 100% of the time, but I hope it helps. :)

And if anyone has a better way of doing this, please speak up.

Ok, so I was coding Mew's little jab/uppercut combo in PSA, but I can't seem to make the second hit detected. The timers are correct and everything, I just don't know what I'm missing. :ohwell:

Help?
You have to terminate the previous collisions every time you want to add another, especially if they're in the same place/on the same bones.

Also, I highly suggest using a newer version of PSA.

....hm. That would make sense. :laugh: Thanks again.

And I didn't even know there was a newer version.... that would be in the PSA thread in the OP, I assume?

Yes TCR, it's in that thread. Click on the DL link for 1.3 and open the file "Older Builds" and 2.1 will be in there.

it's Fire punch, Ice punch and Thunder punch!
(you will switch the moves with the taunts)

Finished animating and coding Mew's up tilt. :) Can anyone think of a clever way of summoning hearts for that attack?

Also, anyone have any ideas for Mew's side tilts? I'm trying to follow as closely to GALOT's moveset, but I'm looking for some fresh ideas as well.

okay, an issue appeared!

nothing to do with glitches or PSA.

it's got to do with the sword (the sword is fine)

I got the sword vertex. oh but wait, the person who made the sword vertex for me put it on Ike's Sword that is on him. now i want to port those polygons over to external sword i have set up. any way of doing this? or is it re-vertex tiem?

Is Ike's sword separate from his body, or is it all together?

If it's alll together... well, this may sound silly, but maybe you can model swap all of Ike over Diddy's gun and scale all his other bones to 0...? You may just have to ask the person to vertex the sword model you have. :ohwell:

Alright.

is there anyway to replace folders in Brawlbox?

i am trying to replace or rename the folder AnmShp(NW4R) to AnmVis(NW4R)

because zelda's model will only recognise these commands.

i could replace the whole animations data, then freezing issues occur.
