really ? up throw dair doesn't connect on spacies i do it all the time ... funny
Maybe at some %'s it does, but I find it's more assured to get a sweet spot B-air, or N-air, or even U-air. You normally get more fallow up opportunity.

Sorry for double post, thought I clicked Edit. Forgive me.

Lmao so once I edge cancelled a dair off stage as captain falcon and accidentally falcon punched after I dj'd
The falco meteor cancelled the dair and the falcon punch hit him on its way down.

Once I tried to meteor 1233, but he did meteor cancel with jump and killed me with B-air, all of that happened in one second.

I hate life.

I finally sat down and watched some of IHSB's videos and HugS pretty much nailed it with his post. Comparing Watty, Alukard, HugS, and IHSB, you can see where two distinct schools of thought are formed, and it's terribly interesting noticing the habits. Any other Samuses I should watch? I've been feeding on Wes' stuff since 2004, but I'm finally starting to get into Melee again and I got to keep up with all the neat tricksies. (HugS, I'm down for another Hugo Challenge.)

I was trying to work reverse bairs in while playing tonight. It feels like you have to hit with only the hitbox furthest up her leg, which is really hard to do because of how it overlaps the next hitbox. I only managed to nail it once, and it was at too high of a percent to combo into anything (though I can see how, at a lower percent, it would lead perfectly into other aerials). Can't wait to see it mixed into something beastly though.

If he's consistently comboing it into other aerials, you're way more likely to see DM do it before me. I'm having trouble landing the reverse bair at all, that hitbox is tiny haha.

haha it really is, its hard but the reward is like a piece of heaven. it does a good amount of damage and its another reason for the opponent to fear sami' grab game. i managed to do u-throw+reverse b-air+f-air+sex kick=sex on the beach:love:

I need some advice for teams. I mean I try to tank stocks or w/e, but I'd like to be more effective as a partner especially when the other team has characters with a **** match up vs. Samus on it.

One thing is to save your partner with dem bomb or w/e
The **** characters... I'm going to assume you mean sheik, puff, maybe marth... Well, we might have different styles, but I deal with sheik by spacing dairs and nairs well, and making sure to stay near my partner alot. Puff... uptilt, nuff said. Marth is prob. the biggest problem in teams for me. I just try to always out-space the marth and make sure I'm always moving. Protect your partner!

do any of you guys ever try tech chasing with d-airs? it's really hard, but it's her main combo-starter.
It is hard to pull off and something like F-smash could be more guaranteed and effective. You have the option to charge and pull more mind games. But Dair I guess gives more cool points.

Yeah, same here. Gotta make sure not to get hit by a get-up or hit their shield.
