^^^*fighting rant*^^^
taekwondo is nice and all, but u'll need more than kicks to win in a street fight. i was in taekwondo 7 years- blackbelt included, but its important to work on boxing, and grappling as well for more well-rounded resume of kickass.
Equally important, real fights are never fair. I'm humble to say I know a thing or two about fighting, but when i jumped in to save my friend from a robbery, it didn't stop 3 people to beat me to the ground at once- its important to know how to fight dirty as possible to, including using you're envirornment and knowing when you can avoid stuff all together.

back to exercise:
i dont do much during summer, but i'm going to start up lifting weights casually this college semester as i always do. I'm not crazy strong, but i'm deffinately athletic as for as hardcore gamers go.
I was actually delightfully surprised today, for the first time in 3 months i tried getting a real workout, and i still got 16 reps of 135 lbs. (i weight 155, 6'). Obviously its because all my muscles are entirely fresh, so i dont expect to get that anytime soon now, but hopefully i can work back up to my max of 210.
I try to run 1 or 2x a week. Nothing crazy..anywhere from 1 to 3 miles, depending how i feel and hows the weather.
I submission/wrestle spar (victor by tapout, no striking) with some friends on occasion, which is awesome but we still pick up minor injuries here and there. Today i accidently elbowed my friend in the mouth while he was defending my mount.
The guys i spar with are much bigger than me (6'6 225, and 6'3 250?) so it makes me confident, in knowing that if i can go even with people that size, i'll have much easier times against people my own size.
