I agree that soup's wagon diverting looks too blatant to be partner defense, but I wouldn't completely discount the possibility. There's been a recent trend of wagons that gain steam ending up going all the way in an HBC reminiscent fashion that is aided by the short deadlines everyone likes around here. It is possible soup tried to discredit a Z25 push early and something still rubs me the wrong way about his insistence that he wasn't calling Z25 town where I think in the scenario where soup is scum and Z25 is town soup would feel more comfortable throwing out a townread as justification for defending Z25. By saying he sees the scumminess he covers his bases if Z25 does end up getting lynched and flipping scum. The whole "mislynch waiting to happen" and "I never said I townread him" combination just doesn't sit right with me.

Agreed. I definitely cop to defending Z25 and town lean reading him early game. I don't think Soup's defense was so different to mine that he could convincingly claim to have not read him at least town leaning.

I did a double-take on Z25 from PYP in relation to what you highlighted about him Kantrip and I think the disrepancies are there, certainly. However, I also don't think it's possible to play 1:1 with yourself in every game, because different environments inhibit different responses, therefore I don't know why word modifiers as you put it are indicative of scum. The argument I posed earlier was at the crux of things: S25 says he has never flipped scum and frankly I'm not sure if I see scum trying to be at the helm of the discussion yet alone make such obtuse plays such as justifying an obvious RVS wagon for awkward reasons. Like..I get it. I get why that's scummy so I don't fault You/Joey for seeing it that way, I just don't feel it's the right option right now. If you want me to partake in some theory of my own I think in the event of Z25 being scum I would consider Pokechu to become more likely, so this is not as seperate as you think. Can a Z25/3K/Pokechu team exist? Possibly, but I'm not going to come in here and state my overbearing confidence in those 3, I'm just going to say that I feel it is likely we have scum in there.

Feels way safer to spare near-confirmed town and kill question marks because if we get enough confident town reads scum loses by PoE.

Catching this in reread while I formulate my thoughts into stances:

RVS is never truly random. My vote on Ryker wasn't random. Soup's bandwagon on Ryker wasn't random. You're the only one who would open random.org to slap a vote down, most other people have a reason with their ****posting. This is why RVS can be very telling.

So, as a direct correlation to that fact: I think Shishoe is scum. His push onto Poke came across as the over-the-top, lazy, and mechanical approach I would expect scum to take on that type of behavior. I still have yet to get meaningful content out of Shish that has anything to do with the rest of the game yet, despite prodding him for more.

That's where I was at wrt to lynching you instead of Pokechu, but his re-entry and EoD1 are textbook scummy even if the AtE reads town who's ****ed up. I don't think I could bring myself to not lynch him in 3-man because I would rather lose the game than risk losing to that. Fuuuuuuuuuck that LyLo WIFOM.

That's reasonable and in your shoes I'd definitely be in self preservation mode.

I'd like to think I corrected the tunnel vision I had D1 and I've put some effort into looking at the game as a whole this phase to the point that my intent should be pretty transparent. Ideally I'd be as universally townread as you are at this point so I'm curious what people who still scumread me have as far as sunstantiation goes.

The problem is that the logic behind you being town also applies to Kantrip mechanically and most people are also town reading him. You're both guaranteed townies basically. This applies less mechanically for Laundry/Ryker but most people are town reading them as well.

Hey I wanna play this game. Assume all four of us are town. You've got scum between the remaining six players. PoE it down for me.

I don't want to assume all 4 of us are town because for me I'm only comfortable putting myself and Pokechu in the LyLo pile. Next up I'd probably add disfunk.

If the pool contains players outside this pool, we lynch them to keep the "clear" pool alive. I'd start with soup and Z25 myself and then the rest would be determined based on who gets nominated and if anything causes someone else to get added to the "clear" pile.

For that vote, I get where laundry is coming from but I don’t agree since shi and chu’s Interaction is a typical.

for me chu is someone who if he does not contribute or just doesn’t attempt to dedicate to anything he posts i’ll lynch him, every game I will lynch him of he plays like that.
