When Ash and friends were heading towards Vermillion City on the route that actually led to Bill's house. Great canon-breaker right there.

I still like how in EVERY TV Show, no one's voices matches their lips. It' not just an Anime thing.

I also love how half of the moves in the Games don't work ANYTHING the way they do in the Cartoons. Infact, you could probably make a completely different game series for the Cartoon, due to all of the different mechanics and junk, and you could probably make a new set of cartoons to match the video games.

That being said, Charizard against Entei was one heck of a battle. Most of the Movie battles were Epic, but then again, they were just movie battles. If I had to pick the Anime Battle that had me on the edge of my little kid seat, it was probably at the Orange Island League, particularly when Dragonite nearly Sweapt Ash's Entire Team.

I love when Pikachu turned the sprinkler on so he could use thundershock to defeat Onix. Even as an 8-year old, I called bull****.

I'd have to agree that the Metapod vs. Metapod match is truly the best moment in the anime. And the fact that it happened in what, the second episode(?) says a lot about how in and out of tune the writers were with the games. I love it.

The second one was the battle I was referencing at the Orange Island League, when Dragonite beat Charizard, Squirtle, Tauros, almost Pikachu, and Team Rockt. That's quite a long sweep.

And the above comment about the crazy as heck games, I ment that they are so different, they could some how try to bs it and make a ton more money off of those addicted to the show with a new game based on it, and could be respectful to compeditive battles with a show that's actually accurate.

Gary and Ash's Final Battle at the end of the Johto League was also quite epic.

Edit:Stinkoman is right. Way back when, when Team Rocket were actually villains, they would stun people with their antics. It was nerve racking to see them actually get away with something (which their voice changed adult forms fail to do so now).

What's that one scene where James and Meowth make fun of Jesse and her face gets huge and her eyes bulge out? I absolutely love her face, but I can't seem to find the episode.
I know it took place in Hoenn if that helps = /

lol yeah really. It was right near the beginning of the series when I was playing pokemon yellow. I was like wtf when I was fighting brock. XD
