Lol MikeHaggar is hilarious.

Energy drinks suck, dude. You may as well grind up a caffeine tablet and multivitamin into a bottle of high fructose corn syrup (the main ingredient in 90% of sweet drinks and sweet processed foods, and has been shown to reduce cognitive abilities in rats)

Most meat that's widely available in America is doodoo quality. Fruits and vegetables are god tier food that just about everyone skimps out on. Water and unsweetened, brewed tea are god tier drinks. Cows milk is booboo cow juice that comes from mostly sick cows. I wouldn't eat or drink anything from a sick creature. It's like eating molded fruit.

The more whole food you eat, the better. Processed food and junk is like dead, lifeless food imo; its artificially nutritional. Studies have even shown that vitamins and minerals sometimes act totally differently when not in their original food source. I view food as I would items on a video game. Why eat or drink anything that doesn't benefit you (unless no other option, in which case not eating could be better)?

LMFAO is a ****ing SANDWICH considered "good" by flopmerican standards? i hope for the sake of humanity you are trolling. although flopmericans are the ones that will suffer from this, so i actually enjoy it.
flopmericans eat nothing but white bread which is almost as bad as pure sugar, your cheese is colored with toxic chemicals, ham and **** like that is atrociously bad for your health. ham etc is based on atrocious non ecological meat and filled with junk like toxic flavor enhancers and tons of sugar. you wont get ANYWHERE NEAR enough protein and vegs/fruit, and youll get WAY to much short carbohydrates. sandwiches are great if you want to **** up your blood sugar, get malnourished, get uneven energy levels, get obese, diabetes and get sick.
LMFAO SANDWICHES ARE HEALTHY HURR DURR BWAHAHAHA

the withdrawal symptoms of energy drinks mentioned in a few posts above are mainly just low blood sugar which will never get better unless you start eating long carbohydrates. which pretty much isnt sold anywhere in flopmerica lol.
I had tic-tacs for breakfast today, beeetch.

You can get high quality meats in America. Anything that's grassfed is good. Just stay away from grains. They're so bad for you

Be careful with those, I started having intestine problems because of energy drinks.. I went to see the doctor today because of that.
Anyone that drinks these things, listen to kage because its the truth. I developed a ulcer from them and I didn't drink them often at all. Everyone has their own personal tolerance for them sure, but yea just saying.

Anyway, if I'm smashin it's either tea or water.

the rdi's etc are completely useless and fradulent, theyre way, way, WAY too low and based on dinosaur age old science. they'd be ok if they where 10x the amount for most nutrients except for certain minerals, copper in particular.
and the body cant use the b vitamins unless you have a good balance of the other nutrients, including non-essential ones and nutrients not yet discovered. unless youre on a good diet supplements won't do jack **** as far as therapeutic/energy effects go.
i eat 4500 mgs of niacin a day, thats the kind of doses you have to eat if you want to get an effect beyond just maintaning the minimum amount of what everybody needs. I eat 250 mgs of b6 a day which i consider low, 3000 mgs of vitamin c, 2 50-b complex pills, etc etc. i off course eat zinc aswell due to taking so much b6, and everybody needs to eat zinc supplements anyway since we get way to much copper these days.

b vitamins does not hurt the liver, this is also a myth based on dinosaur age science. the various junk flavorings/colorings in energy drinks however will ****ing **** your liver.
the niacin used in the old study that "proved" that niacin hurts the liver actually contained nicotine.
certain supplements can cause an imbalance of nutrients in the body, but as long as you take the right combination of supplements and eat a good diet you're safe.

BUT WE WIN WhARS WITH GUNS HURRRRRRRRRRRRR

But real talk Mike $wagger, huge fan by the way, but you don't exactly have the trimmest waistline in the whole community or anything, so should you really be lecturing us on health? Americans know what it takes to be thin so we can pull fine *****es-- never eat anything without a package so you can see the calories on it, 100flOZ of diet soda a day, and prolonged periods of fasting a la jesus.

ok but seriously-- I had a Monster for the first time while smashing (on an empty stomach) and got ill results. For like an hour I 2/3 stocked a pretty even opponent, and then my tech entered a zone of comfort and perfection it has never quite been in before.

I'm eating farm fresh blueberries at the moment... Troy scene has awesome farmers market.

Edit: On another note processed grain of any variety (yes that includes whole wheat) is not good for you. Your body was never made to process those and does not get the same nutrition. Also animal fat, with moderation( read don't eat sticks of butter ) is also actually a necessary part of the human diet. Cholesterol ( at least puffy cholesterol isn't, forgot the scientific name), is needed for your blood to clot up properly when you get cut up. However there is another kind of Cholesterol (small and hard in comparison) that causes blood clots. That comes from processed grain and sugar. Moral of the story? Enjoy that steak dinner with chefs butter eat your pulled pork bunless. However you DO need carbs in your diet, because your brain runs off the sugar. Fruits and vegetables are a good source of this, but you can get away with a few high carb meals a week and have a healthy diet.

However eating this way with a reasonable amount of variety is hard. Luckily meat, especially beef, is cheaper here then anywhere else in the world, but if you want to eat this way on the cheap, you really have to cook for yourself which takes up a lot of time and energy. Eating out this way gets expensive ( speaking from experience ) and all of this is very location dependent.

About the only thing I've had that helped me play Melee was a cold or something that I had a while back. My response time was almost as fast as the CRT's that I was playing on. :p

I was reacting to stuff and owning people before I even knew what I was doing. Basically playing amazing entirely on impulse.

'Course, this might have been partially or entirely because of the Mucinex DM I took that same morning, but if that's the case, it doesn't always work, because I've taken it and then played lame on other occasions.

Thisss.

Foreal though it is expensive. You pretty much have to order twice as much because you have to order everything without buns/rolls etc

I am kinda lucky due to having a BBQ, Caribbean, and Indian joint in walking distance, so if I want I can order a lot of stuff without bread or pasta. However, I am weak willed and the coffee place near me makes beast breakfast.

I pounded 15 monsters a week back in high school, I don't know how I'm still alive. That said, I'm very tolerant of caffine and an energy drink usually gives me a nice kick.

But holy **** they're bad for you, don't drink them unless you've got a high tolerance to caffine and a gallon of water on hand.

It's honestly kind of sketch to think about young kids drinking energy drinks. You should have to be 16-17 minimum to be drinking them.

Interviewer: "Mango, you've just beaten Armada to win Apex 2013. What do you have to say to the people?"
Mango: "Armada should've had a V8." *winks with a smirk and holds up a V8 with the label conspicuously facing perfectly forward*

Back at e for all they were handing out 5 hour energy for free. I couldn't find anything else to drink in the entire venue. I had 8 in a time span of oabout 3 hours(I was really thirsty) they tasted like ****.

Caffeine is pretty good for you, as far as I'm aware. No long-term negatives regarding health, and I've heard it can be good for the heart. More importantly, coffee is awesome.

A singular 5 hour energy is a horrible idea, the have like 83x daily recommended B12 and 13x B6 iirc. I drink soda on occasion.

Also, as an American, I am proud to say I am healthy, capable of running 12 miles/day, and work and eat most of my food lately from the farmer's market that I work at. Mike, your hypocrisy is showing.

You sound like a man with very expensive urine and a gradually developing kidney disorder. How 'bout some links to these "studies"?
Altschul. R., Hoffer, A., and Stephen, J.D. "Influence of nicotinic on serum cholesterol in man." Archives of Biochemistry and biophysics, 54; 558-58
Alvarez, W.D. "Ways of discovering food that are causing distress." Proceedings of Staff Meetings Mayo Clinic, 7:443
Anderson W.W., "Hyper children may be tamed by the right diet." The Medical Post
"Childhood schizophrenia" American Journal of Orthopsychiatry
"Effect of vitamin and mineral supplementation on intelligence of a sample of school children" The Lancet, 1:140-143
"Dietary sugar, hyperactivity and cognitive functioning: A methodological review" Journal of Applied Nutrition, 41: 13-0
"Vitamin/mineral supplementation and intelligence" The Lancet, 1:1158-1160
"Vitamin and mineral supplements improve the intelligence scores and concentration of six-year-old-children" Personality and and Individual Differences, 12:1151-1158
"Vitamin supplementation for one year improves mood" Neuropsychobiology, 32:98-105

You can look up these studies in their respective journals. If you read them you will see that the diets proposed and the dosages of vitamins recommended are not quite what you suggest, and pretty much exactly what I proposed.
I was to lazy to type in the authors of all the studies, but I can add them if you find it necessary. I also have tons more that I could refer to if you insist on keeping on being ********.
Sandwiches can be quite healthy if prepared properly. Why don't you go back to eating lutefisk in your glacier cave.
That's a very typical flopmerican delusion, thanks for proving my point.
Tell me what kind of bread you eat. =)

I actually don't eat any bread at the moment, but when I do it's usually that really pleasant wheat bread they sell at Aldi.

Also, this thread is also turning into an organic circlejerk.
I am not pleased.

Fun fact of the day, hippies! Organic has pesticides! (lol if you don't k,now that) Also, some of them are so deadly, that their synthetic equivalent is illegal, yet the organic version is commonly used, such as Pyganic! It is a nuerotoxin!

Also, Mike, I'm so proud that your dad has money, which means you're. . . a parasite? Should I be . . . impressed? Props dude?

Played some smash yesterday with my roomie. I slammed down some rockstar, and when I "felt" it my techs seemed to be on point. It's obvious it is different for everyone though.

What you're talking about is flopmerican "organic" food. In sweden we have something called KRAV and if it's marked with that it means no pesticides whatsoever.
Thanks for further proving that flopmerica sucks compared to my proud, manly viking country SWEDEN.

Not quiet, because I am an amazing genius that has unparallelled levels of natural talent within everything and will end up making more money then my father. And gladly pay large amounts of that money to taxes for the sake of socialism.

The only difference is peoples tolerance to caffeine and the ludicrous can sizes some people drink because of that.
As long as your caffeine tolerance isnt overtly high you should feel better focused for a period off plain red bull or similar size imitations  If it's so high you need to drink some stupid rocketfuel that ****s with your kidneys, stomach etc you should stop drinking anything with it in for a few days/week.

Yeah it's weird though, I used to not feel the jolt like I do now from coffee. It's such an obvious feeling now. I guess tolerances can fluctuate, glad mine weakened as of now.

That's actually a really good attitude.

Again, Mike, you're just being a hypocrite at this point.

Krav label means no chemical pesticides means same as our organic(http://www.krav.se/System/Spraklankar/In-English/For-Consumers/). Pesticide means kills pests. If you don't kill pests, pests eat food. If pests eat food, you have no food. Not a hard concept, especially for a genius.

Also, why does a genius spell quiet instead of quite? Is it because your computer didn't correct it for you? What a genius.

The whole "I'm better than you because. . . " is just annoying, give it up and stop making yourself look bad, you're not impressing anyone, especially with internet stats. Watch this: I'm a billionaire super-model genius. It is the internet, so I can say that. People can say anything on the internet, so nobody will believe your nonsense, although people do see one thing: how you present yourself. At this point, I'm done replying to you, child.
