Hypothetically speaking, you could take NJ's top 8, NY's top 8, mix them together, order them from best to worst and subtract the weakest player. So, yeah, Anti's right about that top 15 being scary as hell, lol. It would be in other regions best interests to split us up, because NJ/NY top 15 is just ridiculous. Every tournament in this region is as hard as a major, ESPECIALLY WITH ALLY SHOWING UP ALL THE TIME FOR NO REASON!!!
Not that simple, unfortunately. The people on the lower end of the top 8 may be inferior to 9-15 on the other state's list (or 9 and 10 if it's New York).

Three different PRs would be a good idea.

Another question: Atlantic North has always been viewed as three regions: New England (CT and up), tristate (NJ/NY/PA), and MD/VA. Tristate is basically NJ/NY, considering the PA Brawl scene is not nearly as large. Why should tristate be a viable region and not NJ/NY? There was, however, a tristate PR back in Melee.

Let's also not forget Brawl's only been around for about a year and a half. Did Melee have large area rankings like this when the game was that young? More time is probably needed before we can solidly go from invidividual state rankings to grouping, and possible regional rankings.

Well, when melee started, it didnt have the huge tournament scene that melee had when Brawl came out. So Brawl has a little push behind it, that melee didn't get.

(If I'm wrong about the 64 scene when it transitioned into melee, I apologize)

I read it but everyone has problems, so I don't care for pity parties. Sorry.
Lol that's perfectly fine Kai. Truth be told, I don't like all the pity I'm getting, I just posted it up to tell people why I had been acting the way I had. I keep getting e-mail notifications about how I have comments on that blog, but I know they're all probably people telling me not to kill myself or probably people bashing me for my "stupidity".

Anyways, what's new?
