NJ must be rubbing off on me because today i made this kid cry in class.

thats not kewl. i like a lot of NJ (those i dont can go to hell btw). the way they handles some of the things, such as some people leaving EC wasnt kewl. it could have been done in a way that involved talking to the others and perhaps working out stuff, but w/e. besides these events, NJ is my friend and not something i want to be referred to as a bunch of a**holes.

I told ksizzle to stay in SWR instead of joining EC or forming 100% Juice.

EC didn't intentionally try to wreck other crews. Well, neither did 100% Juice, but it happened.

To this day, I'd prefer Dan stay in your crew to keep it from being too weak. I'm glad Rookie strengthened your crew by going back. I didn't want to absorb SWR members ever.

EC hunted for power, yes.

However, we never pretended that we didn't, and were pretty open about it.

Juice didn't wreck anything, man. If you don't regard the people who left without a word to you as friends then you lost nothing, good riddance. If the members were just power to you then whatever, big deal. If the smash world werent afraid of your strongest member you'd have nothing to worry about anyway between you waltz trevor jason and leo. Either the players were friends, they were utility, or some combination of the two but despite not being discrete about it the fact of the matter is that the means do not differentiate because the ends and the presentation were different. When my linkshell inadvertantly destroyed 3 other groups despite not necessarily meaning to do so, I didn't bat an eye because I know that they (and you) wouldn't have given a flying dog **** if they did it to us. Take the streamlining of the roster as more motivation to strengthen the core of friends you have left. If the members are nothing but ammo to you, then it's no fault but your own if you drop your grenade belt.

I know the Eazy argument was briefly brought up in all this, but if you think about it, Eazy argued that everyone in EC weren't truly great friends, and had strong crew ties. The fact that so many of it's members left only proves Eazy's statement as true. Of course EC does have it's group of great friends such as Inui, Atomsk, Dave, etc, but yea, Eazy was right. If he wasn't then people wouldn't be so quick to leave.

Now that it seems like a lot of players are finally seeing how much NJ blows lol, and I even saw Ksiz say he loves PA amongst other states, how bout a revival of the tristate sub-region make a come back?

Chibo- What Eazy said was only partially right. The thing about EC was that it had so many members(which I hated btw) that there were many different friendship groups in the crew. Most of mine that I taked to often went to Juice however I was also asked to join. Only thing was the ENTIRE crew was not cool with each other but with 30 people that isn't very surprising to me.

Inui- I still get along with you and don't hate you for speaking your mind but you taking this as a "betrayal" is just dumb to me. It's really not that big of a deal for them to leave EC and make their own crew. You have to remember that there is no "leader"(even though I widely view that as Brandon, sorry guys XD) in their crew which makes it a better atmosphere all together and feel like a crew. Be honest with me about this, if Kelvin, Wyatt, or anyone else that was leaving actually talked to you and STILL wanted to leave you really would have less of a problem with it by losing such good people? When you get over this I'm gonna like EC much more. Btw, I like Kelvins sig. It's funny

I don't have to tell you things are bad, everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter, punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere that seems to know what to do and there's no end to it!

We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat. We sit watching our tvs while some local news caster tells us that today we had 15 homocides and 63 violent crimes as if that's the way it's supposed to be! We know things are bad, worse than bad, they're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house and slowly the world we're living in is getting smaller and all we say is, "please, at least leave us alone in our living room. Let me have my toaster, and my tv and my steel belted radios and I won't say anything, just leave us alone!".

Well I'm not going to leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest, I don't want you to ride, I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first, you've got to get mad! Fool. It didn't add competition. It just created an even more imbalanced situation with one crew absorbing top players from multiple crews. SWR doesn't have Kelvin anymore, for instance.

Unlike the rest of you, I don't use that term loosely. A true friend is someone that would show up at my funeral if I died tomorrow, like the old THP group. A true friend is someone I could see myself sacrificing everything for, like Izumi. A true friend is someone that gives a crap about my feelings, like Atomsk. I can't say that about anyone in this community besides a very select few.

It takes a lot for me to consider someone a friend, and leaving my crew in the manner that most of the deserters did doesn't help. If Wyatt considered me even half of a friend, he would have talked to me beforehand and expected me to care about his opinions. If Kelvin considered me a friend, he wouldn't have pretended to be totally cool with me and EC one day and then turn into a deserter the next. That's not friendship. It's BS.

Random people you enjoy hanging out with at tournaments =/= friends.

It's not funny to me because it seems to imply that it's like some sort of lie. It's the truth.

I'm going to beat Snakeee, because he's 100% Juice, and I seriously don't intend to losing that crew. I got this next time.

There is literally no possible way that I can view Kelvin, Wyatt, Max, and others the same way. I can't bring myself to root for Wyatt anymore. I don't think I can be super friendly with Kelvin anymore. The fact that they ditched my crew will always be in my mind. They ditched me. I might even go as far as using the word betrayal. It's just how I feel. I have lost a lot of respect for those that have left my crew.

Just because I'm not in the same crew for a video game with you doesn't change anything to me, especially given that I never really felt like that much of a member of it to begin with.

We're both active participants in the NJ Smash scene. My name not being on the Enemy Controller crew list doesn't make a bit of difference to me, and you shouldn't be calling me a traitor for thinking that way. You lose respect for people that leave your crew? Isn't that essentially setting a pretty harsh ultimatum for everyone in EC? "Stay in forever or I won't have as much respect for you." Kinda makes it look like a deadlock. Nobody left EC with the intention of hurting you greatly and making you hate your state.

I'm sure Kelvin had his reasons for acting cool with EC before he left. For example, not wanting to cause tension amongst anyone in the middle of a Smashfest that everyone was enjoying. Darkening the atmosphere of a real life event is much different than doing or saying things online. I know I didn't say anything because I wanted to leave quietly. Talking to you beforehand would probably have guilt tripped me into staying, or come close. Did I want to lose your respect? Hell no! I didn't want to have something standing in the way of myself and the creation of Juice, so I just left on the most positive note I could to avoid anything bad happening.
