Smash god, how do you do the repeated teleport like against that metaknight? I've been trying to replicate it, but have had no luck.

Teleport from ledge onto stage is an auto-cancel, so you can act out of it immediately. Teleport from there back to the ledge, and the teleport will ledge cancel, allowing you to act out of it immediately again. Then I just teleported back onto the stage. You can also double-jump out of it, and teleport again - i.e. edgeguarding options.

@ Shiny Mewtwo aka Jigglysir I think the reason for double spoilers for Taj and Fatality is that you do one of the videos in the same line as the collapse and /collapse orders.

I still cannot seem to do it. I teleport onto the stage from the ledge in order to auto-cancel and can use teleport immediately, but when I teleport back towards the ledge it never auto-cancels. I pretty much have to double jump out of it to avoid death. Is there ANYTHING else to it?

Make sure you're traveling exactly horizontally. If you angle it vertically away from the stage at all, then you're just teleporting into the air, after which you cannot teleport again. If you teleport to the edge of the stage after teleporting FROM the ledge, you should be the perfect distance for a ledge-cancel every time.

yeah I agree. I played very patient and had to work around mewtwos own range. Pretty rediculous matchup lol.

Imo whichever Mewtwo is faster wins and slippery wins. You can be a fast Mewtwo, but if yhe slower Mewtwo reads your Teleports, you will lose. Have to be tricky.

God, that matchup. As dumb as it sounds, Mewtwo is almost a hard counter to Mewtwo. All of his defensive tools are so good at shutting down his offensive tools that you really have to approach the matchup completely differently from any of Mewtwo's other matchups. The reads, especially on the teleports, are really critical.

Also fair is god.

I hate Smashboards so much right now. There are now 2 Smash God boxes, and the thing that fixed the Taj and Fatality boxes isn't working for that.

I'm trying to have something new mastered by every tournament I entered with Mewtwo. Makes it fun, and people consider my Mewtwo relatively flashy because of it. Yeah, SideB is a very powerful move with Mewtwo. I figured out some shenanigans with it.

There will be more videos from the Smash@Xanadu tournament this past Tuesday soon. In those videos my punish game is stronger with combos that extend for longer periods of time. I'll post em when they're uploaded.

Walls of pain back airs, 3 up airs into shadow claw, 2-3 up airs Into reverse bairs, and he even has a ken combo 2 up airs (or three) into dair. There's more but this is just stuff I use consistently.

I wish I had some videos to showcase these really cool combos I am telling you about. You can see my ken combo on my lucario match and the upairs to bair on my match against neon. I have also found out that hitting people with attacks while hovering actually extends it a bit longer. Idk if it's hit stun that allows it to stay out longer but it happens. I did some really neat combos by being patient and hit confirming in hover. To a c falcon (mr.brandondorf) I actually did 3 upairs into up b fair for a kill. I gotta record these.

If he's in shield then you should be able to just side b him. I didn't watch the matches yet so I'll probably do that later. But side b is nasty. Try chaining it together with another side b against bowser. I like to get a full chain grab going for a bit but idk if it's actually guaranteed. There's nothing wrong with respecting bowser either. If you respect him you should be fine

Probably can of they DI incorrectly. You can do it on spacies pretty easily.

it certainly does not work on spacies. if they di away you shouldnt be able to chase them. its easier with bigger characters.

DI away = jump forward > side b
No DI = Normal jump > side b
DI In = jump forward > turn around side b

i got this all to work against bowser and dk really well. but i also get it consistently against roy, sonic and diddy. i havent been playing much to really get other characters into it but i dont think it works on floaties or fast fallers like spacies and falcon. most things between fall victim tho

also if they dont di the side b i usually just u air them and start the combos
