East Coast Genesis 2 Crew

So, I was just chosen to be captain for the East Coast crew for Genesis. If anyone has a problem with this or has a different suggestion just bring it up.....

Anyway, the crew needs 10 members, with 2-5 alternates I believe I read. I'm not sure who is going but I'd like to use this thread to gauge attendance and see what we can put together.

Let's take it home once again Beast Coast. =)

I doubt the 10v10 will include any non-coast players anyway. Though the rules allow a wider geography than a traditional EC/WC battle, it will effectively be the same thing. I doubt we'll see any Louisiana players making the crews lol.

yo kevin, if you want to win, you'll grab FL players like hotcakes. and i don't just mean hotbox. CA randoms are going to kick your *** if your crew is heavy on NJ down to GA. also try to grab some clutch regulars like hax and jman. also i wouldn't pick any marth/peach/falcon except vanz/hax if he goes if you can help it cause they're too weak on the revenge slot. like yeah they can go in 4 stock vs like 2 on a comfortable MU and then turn around and get ***** for it harder when they pick back. It's no dis on the players or chars, they're just weaker in the format of play. also figure out who on your team knows how to CG cause usually in crews people pick stupid stages and a good CG is just like a free kill so take them as they come.

also you should play fox over falco in crews. i know you put heavy work into the bird but in crews diversity ****ing pays dividends and you'll want fox even if you're not as good as him.

I'm not sure how many Florida players are even going, but I'm hoping the better ones that do go post up so I'll know what I'm working with.

theres a zenith set of me vs him on youtube, but i also played him in a lot of friendlies and he was surprising me

I agree with putting Abate on the crew. He's been beasting locally and at the most recent No Johns he lost to Hax by about as small a margin as possible. He might be a good pick against one of the ICs players in particular.

damn wish I couldve gone just to have a shot in crews. Anyways, I'd vouch for the guy too. He is kind of doing the whole "not known" to like "outta nowhere pretty good guy" which I think is great for crews. Plus another falco never hurt especially one that differs from PP on such a large scale. He puts me in the mind of Dope which will probly be a good wild card.
