Short for "I will break every polygonal bone of your character with a twitch of my eyebrow..."?If they don't do the following, I will explode:
The final match of the tournament has ended. The winner is being showered with praise. They get congratulated by Sakurai (assuming he's there), for toughing it out to the very end, and are commended for their excellent skills.
Suddenly, a siren goes off. A message appears on the audience's viewing screen. It reads "Warning! Challenger Approaching!".
Then, everything goes quiet. Ominous clapping is heard in the distance. Someone begins to speak:
"Well done, talented Smash Brother. Your skills are exceptional. They may even rival those of Sakurai-san himself.
But, your fight is not over yet. You have one final challenge you must face, and that is to defeat the greatest Smash player of them all.
I'm about kickin' ***, takin' names - and I hope, for your sake: That your body, is READY!"
The audience viewer screen announces: "Reggie-Fils-A-Mech's Body is Ready to Take Names!"
Reggie Fils-Aime takes the stage. He selects the new "Reggie-Fils-A-Mech" icon on the character select screen. He offers a handshake to the tournament champion.
"May the best man win."
I was actually hoping for a tournament like this for this year's EVO... But E3? It's even better. This is easily the best marketing decision Nintendo has made in a stupidly long time. This is already contending to be the best E3 for Nintendo since 2010.
PSABR had a public beta. IIRC, the data was from that.I wonder if we'll get any character info from the demo code like psasbr did..im not sure exactly how they got the demo info from psasbr, but perhaps something similar will happen with smash? Nintendo probably will not fall for the same mistake, but it will be interesting to see.
Can you please put that in collapse tags? Some people don't want E3 spoiled!Mewtwo is revealed at E3. M2K is announced to be at the tourney. He mains Mewtwo at the tourney. He wins. The end.
Honestly, despite the fact I don't know much about the "Smash tournament celebrities" and have not watched many tournament matches, I too am looking forward to this tournament more than anything else. The atmosphere will be phenomenal, no doubt about it. And of course, we will get a lot of new footage out of this game with the tournament, the Best Buy event, and anything else that's shown, like previews.I honestly cannot wait for this tournament; I might be more hype for this invitational tournament than the actual reveals for Smash 4. I am also interested in the Best Buy event, but I heard that the first one wasn't handled properly. I don't really want to waste my time, but it seems like quite the opportunity.
Wii U only it seems. Will this be the 3DS version or both?
It would be hilarious seeing the skill-gap or meta-game differences. It would actually make for quite the interesting tournament, but I have a feeling that they will probably go through more Brawl players than anything.I fully expect to be disappointed, but I hope they will invite top players from all smash games. Imagine seeing like Jousuke vs Armada.
WaT?Hopefully this won't be as crazy as pre-Smash Direct...
What about the Best Buy demos? That would be silly, so hopefully they invite people who would actually be awesome to watch play (it urks me that the pros will get ahead of everyone else and be better than us before the game even launches (((( )
Better than Mii so sure !If they don't do the following, I will explode:

And very soon, Optimistic Charizard will become a true meme.
I am not sure; no one is. But I would wager that most of EVO 2014's Top 8 would be included. So who/which well known players will be invited to the invitational?
It'll probably be a Reggie Mii though. xDBetter than Mii so sure !
I wish I could be content with the atmosphere of eager Smash Bros. fans, but that certainly isn't enough for me. In fact, it sounds a little repugnant. This is very awesome! I can't wait! I'll go to Best Buy for the demo, but even if I don't get to play the game, I'll enjoy the atmosphere of eager Smash Bros. fans!
