I'm just going to believe this is leak true until we actually get to see the real CSS at the Invitational or something.
It's too much stress to prove if this is fake or not IMO.

E3 is in 16 days contain your hype until then

Not if the photograph was taken of a gamepad screen. Which would explain EVERYTHING:

-the cursor awkwardness, like you've been discussing
-the pixelation
-the smudges
-the close up camera angles

Hi guys first ever post nice to meet you exciting times.

I don't really have an opinion on this either way, I'm just going to wait it out and eventually we will see if its real!

BUT in favor of it being real (because I want it to be real), it makes sense that the pictures are blurry, to me at least. If it's real, whoever did this has balls of steel because their job is on the line the second someone sees their phone in camera mode. We can't assume he was alone with the demo stations so he took ninja pics, and we don't know where they are anyway. Certainly not at Best Buy yet, which is why both versions are wherever the leaker is, be it at a warehouse or a Nintendo office building. Who knows.

Any way I probably won't make a habit of posting, but this has me excited. Still, could be fake, who knows.

Ninja Edit: As for the lack of a hand and people speculating if the screen was off the Gamepad, it was definitely from a TV, but maybe if you tap a character on the Gamepad, it just puts a token there and selects it, no hands required. Then if you move the stick, the hand comes up as usual. Ahhhh once again, who effing knows.

Yeah, I just tried to take a picture of my gamepad and it was hard as hell/impossible to hit the angles of the leak. I could've taken fullscreen leaks much easier.

Maybe the gamepad user doesn't have a hand, so it won't appear. However the picture is still of the tv screen.

There are no other hands because there are no other controllers plugged in.

Welcome to the forums JCAndre! I don't know much about the "leak debunking" stuff but like you I also find it very interesting nonetheless!

I'm going to bring one thing up regarding the Anthony vs. Ridley question. I'm not convinced either way, but I'm leaning more towards Ridley at the moment. This is because of the name and the spacing.

ANTHONY has 7 letters and takes up significantly more space than RIDLEY in that text format. If you look at the character box thing, I believe there is too much space after the Y for the whole word to be ANTHONY. ANTHONY takes up about as much space as VILLAGER so there would be little space at the end. However, RIDLEY takes up about as much space as SAMUS, and that would leave the appropriate amount of space left.

I told you people. I'm gonna rest now. That's enough for me. Nintendo goes full out trying to remove stuff because they do not get this confirms it for the rest of us. No more caring about smudges or gamepads. I'm 99% sure we got our roster now fellas!

Welcome JCAndre! I like your idea about the cursor and the hand showing up only when you move the cursor. It makes a lot of sense.

I see it on the very top left you see an arc of blue and normally, the hand would go there.

And you mean that the gamepad which is the first player can control the second one? Not sure if you;re trying to tell this but this would be even more weird.

One of my original points was that you cannot make out Link's name when you should be able to. You should have at least see the end of the K.

It's because the blue box mean 2P selected it. Look at Marth, his square is Red.

Wait I have a question, why is Ridley on the one with Little Mac and Mega Man, but the leaker fails to mention him for the tournament mode version?
