The plot thickens...sometimes i wonder why Nintendo even tries to do damage control like that? As soon as they start pulling the trigger on all the images it pretty much confirms the image. If they are doing damage control that is.
As has been brought up before, they're not going to randomly not capitalize a character's name.
As has been brought up before, that's the P2 cursor.
Because officially on the site it's "Wii Fit TRAINER" not "WII FIT TRAINER"
Ugh... I have terrible memories of that game... 72 hours of frustration, pain, and tears....
The only thing I can think of is that hitting it would switch the mode to teams.
I like the game a lot but was neglecting to finish these last chapters for awhile now because they are so long, but now I am finishing them.
A fair point, but I'm not sure if that's enough reason to dismiss it.
That would make opposite sense because colors are now optional for team battles. Maybe there is now a second screen where you change colors?

We went over this....If you hold your cursor over someone without clicking them, they will be transperent. This happened in both brawl and melee.
I assumed that the cursor was hovering over Marth, but the player hadn't pressed A. I say this because the cursor is also transparent.
I know that we don't know if the hands are returning but how is that make sense to select stuff like colors and options or the free for all thing wihtout the hands?
Tip for the final chapter: Don't kill off every single enemy before fighting the bosses. They'll ALL just respawn (and believe me, there's A LOT). I barely made it out because I thought that getting rid of all the enemies would've helped, and I ended up just sending everyone to the final boss to go pwn him.
Since there isn't much else to go on, little things like that do hurt this leak's chances, I think.
Gamepad screen maybe? Touch controls?
Seriously, read the thread. Everything you've said has been brought up and explained before.
and how to use the pro controller then? It;s not like they will add the hands just for this controller.
You didn't know you can push X and Y to change the colors? That's how it worked since Melee. And even then you could use the C buttons to change the colors on N64 Smash.
They could have been trying so hard to make a convincing leak that they forgot such a minor detail in the process.
and the rule? options? free for all thingy?
If the picture is of the gamepad screen? Just guessing
Maybe the cursor is now the hockey puck? Maybe you stamp them with the hockey puck. I dunno what's life anymore.

Yeah, I don't really care if it's fake or not, which I'm still leaning on it being fake, because we only have two weeks left to finding out ourselves, not a long time at all. Although it would be cool to see a 3rd Metroid rep, judging from these pictures though, then this means no Bowser Jr....*cries in a corner*
This is why I'm claiming that it just can't be true you would have to center the circle on the options but for 4 players, this would be a mess and imo, bad design.

Because that same background is also used on the official website on character pages.
They do something similar on the official website. The row of character portraits at the bottom of the page each have the generic gradient background.
