Okay so last night I had a rather normal dream involving people I know. Well what throw me off if like places that where in the dream don't exist, but I had seen them before in other dreams. I only really remembered seeing them before when I woke up, but not actually seeing them but in past dreams. It's weird. This happened to anyone before?

Yep. I've been on a giant cruiser once before, and last week I was on it again. My siblings and I were sitting in our beds, and my mother rushed in, yelling "GET OUT OF THE BEDS!". We jumped out of the beds and they exloded.

Still, there is no proof I actually dreamt that. You'll just have to believe me.

EDIT: I just realized why I dreamt about jumping from an explosion. It was the night after I saw Transformers 2. Well I'll be dam
ned.

Yeah course bro.
Dreams are, after all, cooked up by your brain.
A lot of things in dreams symbolize certain thoughts or situations in life you're facing or have faced etc.

Maybe the place is connected to some issue or thoughts you've been having. Just a wild guess.

A lot of the time, I end up in this particular green field, with a weird tree to the north west.

Hmm, you're probably right.

What Teran said, there's always some sort of psychological factor behind the dreams.

Do you recognize bits and pieces of the setting, or is it a heavily modified version of what you know, or something else?

Dreams are pretty cool ****, something like this just happened to me last night.

Yes, there are several locals that I sometimes return to even when the dreams are years apart. One of the most memorable ones is like the Mall of America where you use different roller coasters to get to different floors and each of the floors is different in a odd way like the top floor is underwater while the bottom floor is mostly ice.

Well from years ago it was associated with one of my friends houses, how I don't know. But last night it had no coorelation to him.

I recognize the landscape because it's so odd.

I dream nearly every night :)
My mind just never stops.....

And yeah, I've dreamt about tons of places that I've never seen before, but I only remember them once I dream about the place more than once. It's happened a few times already.

I've always wondered if these places were simply fabricated from places we've seen in pictures, or just random. Could be both.

But one time a couple years back I was traveling to the Rocky Mountains with my parents. Nothing more than a small vacation. Eventually we decided to go check out one of the many waterfalls that reside there. I've never seen a waterfall until then, I was impressed. I thought it was amazing.

Afterwards we went and checked out the bottom of the falls where the water settles. Everything was normal, but then I suddenly remembered seeing that place in one of my dreams. The water was the exact same chalky blue, the rocks, the trees, the entire setting seems almost identical to what I had dreamt months earlier. I even saw the rescue boat the I saw in my dream (Mind you, it was a slightly different color, but still).

I actually got dizzy after realizing this. It was so weird, but it was so incredible at the same time. I doubt I saw a picture of the place beforehand, but how could've I dreamt of a place I've never seen or been to before? Is it possible? Was it huge coincidence? There's so many questions, but unfortunately they'll probably never be answered.

I guess I'll never know for sure.

You don't have a sense of direction in dreams so middle = Northwest.
You know, I wouldn't be surprised if that was sort of it (Majora's Mask <33333). Still, the tree is quite different, and I DO have a sense of direction in dreams. My dreams are extremely vivid.

Teran, I was amazed by that place and I kept running around it all afternoon <_< I loved that tree
It really is an awesome place.
Especially with the Bunny Hood and Goron roll.

But really, I love that game too much.

I have had lucid dreams with great results in the past. As for places, I have had many trips to my hometown in Mexico as well as outer space, European countries and medieval Japan where I got killed in a dream.

True story, no hax. I had a deja vu of a Pika vs Snake match on Halberd. At one point I realize the match looked very familiar, so I Dair in place in order to make the Snake approach, spot dodge his Utilt use my Utilt and hit him w/ thunder. I won that set too.
After that I was like WTF did that really happen? Worst of all it was a dream about smash

>The only rainbow I remember in my life was when I was in a car one day. We were right at the edge of a storm, so it was all sunny where we were, but the clouds+rainbow were completely visible a few miles away :) 'twas awesome.

My dreams are often ridiculous. Most of my nightmares revolve on me in my daily life with friends+family. But no one can hear anything I say :urg:
My best dreams are flying dreams, where I can swim through the air and everyone's like, "whoa"

To add to the Deja vu stories...

This one time I had a dream where I was sitting at a table and watching someone leave, and I said something like "Don't leave me here to get molested!" I looked around after saying that, but it was all blurry and I woke up.

A week or two later, the carnival was in town and the exact thing that happened in my dream happened. I was saying the molested comment as a joke, and the person was my friend who was going to the bathroom. After saying it I looked around and everything was a clear version of what I saw in my dream. Right as I looked around my head began to swam and I felt dizzy.

Strangest. Feeling. Ever.

My last dream was in a movie theater. It was weird because it had like... a lunch break-type of intermission during the movie and the only way you could exit was through the back. You had to go around the outside of the building just to eat lunch. The only food they served was frozen TV dinners and I chose the one with the salmon and rice and then I microwaved it. And during the lunch break, you could watch the professional (American) football players play football outside on the street.

I did go to the movies about a week before that dream... but I don't eat seafood or watch football, so it was kind of a mix between something that happened and something random.

My dreams all seem to happen in places that I've been, except strangely warped and connected as if by tesseracts; it takes far shorter time to travel from place to place.

My dreams always borderline lucidity. It bugs me when I wake up. I'll have some nagging sense of false reality the entire dream, but I'll dismiss it. Then I wake up and realize that if I hadn't, I could've lucid dreamed.

This has nothing to do with dream location, but whatever. Recurring locations are present in nearly everybody's dreams.

A recurring place in dreams probably isn't all that unusual. It's like other aspects of deaths [edit: I meant "dreams," but man, what a way to Freudian] that can reoccur, themes or objects or people. Probably it's a place that has some psychological meaning specific to you.

I don't remember my dreams except once in a while.
