I actully really enjoyed the last two Skylander games. Plus, a game with Bowser, DK, Crash, Cortex, and Spyro? Sign me the **** up.

No. I don't like the characters nor do I think they're likely to get in since they don't have many distinguishing features over other characters.

I’m fine with this. The only one that really excites me is Scorpion, since hes one of the few “No way Nintendo has the balls to put x in” characters left (I also just like MK but thats besides the point).

Yes, but Krystal herself seems to be a well liked character, and she's had other appearances to the point where she'd be a major character if they stopped hitting the reset button on the story.
We don't, but that's not really a good justification for not adding any given character. Like, we don't need another Super Mario character to properly represent the series, or any new The Legend of Zelda character, or another Kirby character, but that doesn't mean that they would outright be a bad edition.
I wouldn't say stagnant so much as floundering. Kinda like the Sonic series, except less popular and less wildly different between entries. Still, it's not really relevant to a Smash inclusion.
Which is exactly why she hasn't appeared in 15 years; they hit the reset button again and now she doesn't exist yet.

If DLC is still rolling out when this comes out (I guess November?) we'll get a few spirits, something like Gigantamax Lucario or stuff like that. We already have a Gen IV rep in Lucario so I don't think we'll get a Pokémon in this pass.

You seem pretty optimistic. Though I wouldn't mind a Cafe Mix tie-in: I played that for a bit and I enjoyed it, though I got stuck on a level and ended up dropping it.

I am memeing but I'm pretty pessimistic about Sinnoh remake. It's going to be really predictable that the postgame will be lacking, Dynamaxing is somehow going to be shoehorned into the game so they can milk it once more before they ditch it for idk whatever the next gimmick will be, Uber Berries? I don't expect the Distortion World to make any sort of meaningful appearance and I genuinely believe it will just be a glorified hallway you get to visit once in the postgame, the modern exp share will probably be forced on you and the game will not be balanced around that face (I mean personally I never had trouble with Platinum at all minus literally just the final boss) but you know, I like freedom of choice in my gameplay and not to be babied.
